The eight Republicans registering 'yes' votes are likely to draw heat from their party's leadership. Those members are Reps. Mary Bono Mack (CA), Mike Castle (DE), Steven Kirk (IL), John McHugh (NY), Leonard Lance (NJ), Frank LoBiondo (NJ), Dave Reichert (WA), and Chris Smith (NJ).
Part of the deception:
CEI releases global warming study censored by Obama's EPA
Natural forces as opposed to human activity are largely responsible for temperature fluctuations, according to a new study the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) released today as Congress prepares to vote on global warming legislation.
Internal email messages show the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) suppressed the report and silenced the author because the scientific evidence did not square with the Obama administration’s agenda of regulating carbon dioxide, CEI claims. The EPA has become overly reliant upon outdated information from the United Nations and has ignored major new scientific developments, the censored study concludes.
On to the Senate where we can't afford to lose.

You mean "The eight Republicans registering YES votes.

In his own words -
Barack Obama: "Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket." (January 2008)

If this gets through the senate we are all Fu#^*+ !!
Hope those republican scumbags go down in 2010 and in 2012 when they come up for re-election.

Unfortunately, I picked the text up straight from the Examiner - they must have now corrected. I replaced the graph with the new one.

2010 is going to be a bloodbath for the dems
Posted by: PA | Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 02:13 AM
Obama and the lefties are going to jam this down this countries throats. They don't care how badly this hurts the average American. The Dems and Obama want this country to fail. Not completely fail, but fail to the point where a majority of Americans depend on the left to keep them feed and clothed. Once they can do that all of us that work hard to make a good life become their wage slaves.
They are putting all these things in place for a slow motion failure. Obama and the left depends on the conservatives to put our heads down and keep pulling the plow, just like the plow horse in Animal Farm. Obama has even told us that once we get to old off to the glue factory we go.
The way to beat this is at their own game. We conservatives need to stop spending money. Sit back and hunker down. If we do that everything falls apart faster than the Dems can handle. Once that happens we make sure to lay the blame for this disaster at the feet of the Dems.
Once we conservatives are back in power no more trying to be bi-partisan. We need to PURGE the dems and liberals from Government, the Media, and Academia. If lefty judges try to stop us we need to PURGE the judiciary also.
Some of you may think that this is to harsh, but remember they are destroying our children's future.

Mary Bono Mack is Sonny Bono's widow, no? All these people need to be targeted for political extinction immediately. We cannot look for help from the RNC on any of this, remember.
Also, Mark Levin played The Won's (Feb. 2008?) clip saying electricity costs would skyrocket for energy companies AND BE PASSED ON TO THE CONSUMERS. Mark and I believe Rush have played this several times. It goes hand-in-hand with his ominous clip "it's not about revenue, it's about fairness." The evil of this man knows no bounds.
southdakotaboy, you are right on and nothing is too harsh. NOTHING.

Don't know about Flake. Sullivan has taken a leave of absence to deal with his addiction to alcohol. He is at the Betty Ford clinic. He's had a problem with it in the past. He's a politician, but still a pretty good guy from all I know. He was my congresscritter while I lived in Tulsa.

Of the 44 dems that voted No there were quite a few who are far left (Kucinich/De Fazio) and voted No because they did not think the legislation went far enough. These guys had the votes even if the 8 Repubs did not jump the ship. Thus, the Dems that were Blue Dog that voted for the legislation are the ones to target as much as the Repubs who voted for this monstrosity. We need a list of those so called conservative Dems in Republican leaning districts.

leo lance is a freshman, who won the gop primary aginst 8 other challengers.
in a perfect world the gop cuts the field down to 2 or 3 challengers, and he has to run as an independent.
in reality, there will probably be 15 challengers, and lance will actually win the primary(again).

"95% water vapour" Global warming debunked by New Zealand Meteorologist
ED NOTE: Today the US House voted 219-212 to pass a $2 trillion scheme to control human output of Carbon Dioxide emissions. The so-called Cap-and-Trade Carbon Tax will next go to the US Senate for a vote. Nobody more succinctly debunked the claim upon which this economy-wrecking scheme is based than the late Augie Auer, Chief Meteorologist for the Meteorological Service of New Zealand.

Kirk from Illinois has been one of the vocal good guys in previous House votes and is whip smart, has multiple degrees, is free of taint, and is still Navy Reserve. His constituent services sre excellent and he serves and gets re-elected as a moderate Republican in an ever bluer district in a blue state. I don't like at all that he was one of the eight, and I wish he'd explain his thinking and why he voted on crap and trade. But I'd guess it has to do with the fact that he is looking at either the Illinois Governorship or to take Burris' senate seat in 2010. For all those idiots who yell "throw the bums out and get a REAL conservative to run in these districts" I have to say that they will go Dem before a social conservative gets elected in suburban Chicago. That's just the way it is.
Kirk would make a good governor or a great senator for us who live in the cesspool of Illinois politcs run by Dems. It worries me greatly that ignoramuses from other regions of the country who trash him from within the party could do damage to his excellent chances of getting elected to a critical office where he really could do good.

P.S. Re: my previous comment-- I'm not saying there are ignoramuses commenting on this excellent site. I was referring to some of the vitriol I saw on many right leaning blogs yesterday concerning "the eight" and how they must be dealt with!
Posted by: Eli | Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 03:13 PM
All 8 need to go along with all the Dems that voted yet. I can only pray that 2010 and 2012 will take them all down.
SCUMBAGS ALL OF THEM.
