Democrats are at it, again, just as they were with the Stimulus package. A bill that will impact every aspect of the economy and they're forcing a vote before it can be read and debated. They're paying off the Green lobby with America's economic wealth.
“The House of Representatives is preparing to vote on an anti-stimulus package that in the name of saving the earth will destroy the American economy. Smoot-Hawley will seem like a speed bump.”
Let your voice be heard:
If you're as utterly disgusted by this as I am, you can send a message to Pelosi and her cronies by telling your Congressmen to vote against this bill. You can e-mail them, call them (202-225-3121), or text the National Taxpayers Union on 54608 and they will help.
Michelle Malkin is blogging the fake debate: Kill it now. Don't rely on the Senate and John McCain. With the economics and debt we're already facing, they will destroy significant wealth creation in America and hurt our competitiveness around the world.
10:02am: GOP Rep. Pence blasts “embarrassingly short” debate on behemoth bill. Says there are reports that there are new trade restriction in the bill, but who knows. No has read the bill. The way the bill is coming to the floor should be disturbing to every American. Last night at 3:00am, House Dems filed 309-page amendment and denied 224 GOP amendments. Three hours, 1 amendment filed. What’s the hurry? What are we hiding - that we can’t afford more time for Americans to examine what’s in the bill? What’s in it? Corporate welfare? Special provisions to placate members? Majority just denied us one additional minute of debate?! This is not Congress! I don’t know what this is…a travesty!

TICK TICK TICK,,,. Thats the sound of the clock winding down to the 2010 congressional elections. BOOM! Thats the effect it will have on the blue dog democrats who will disapear from the landscape following the election results. Wave bye bye blue dogs.Hope you have a job after the fall.

i concur.
blue dogs who vote for this are 'trusting' that the senate won't pull the rug out from under them.
if they vote for a bill, that does get shot down in the senate, they are absolutely doomed.
