Speech at link. Quite a crowd.
Even though he was the last one scheduled to speak, Adnan Barqawi quickly became the talk of the Republican State Convention for Virginia. He joined the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Tech and rose through the ranks. What got the crowd to their feet -- one of many -- is when he said he became not a hyphenated American. But a whole American.

Amen to that!

Sounds good. I still won't support him for this reason: taqqiya. You never can know if a Muslim is lying or telling the truth. I don't want to be played into supporting an Islamic agenda somewhere down the road, so I reject all Muslims from the git go. If they want me to take 'em seriously, let him convert and become a serious practicing Christian.

Thank you for the link, by the way.

So, apodoca does that mean you would not support a Jew for the Presidency or to Congress? I thought this country was founded on separation of church and state... just a guess.

As a VPI alum, I could not be more proud!! Also apododa, look at the video that follows with his mantel with a huge NIV Bible right in the center! Don't be so quick to judge a persons faith. That is not our perogative. When you have stood up in front of your peers and made a speech that brings them to their feet in affirmation, then maybe we will listen to what you have to say.
