Sean Harrigan, a pension board appointee of LA's Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, has resigned over questions that ultimately go back to a firm founded by Car Czar Steven Rattner.
Sean Harrigan, who had served on the Los Angeles Fire and Police Pensions board, was asked in the letter to identify any income he had received from companies doing business with his agency. Board member Elliott Broidy had received a similar letter.
Steve Rattner's pension fund corruption problems started in NYC. Rattner wasn't just an executive there, Bloomberg has him as a founder.
The Los Angeles fund has come under scrutiny in connection with the New York scandal after one of the investment firms named in the indictments, Quadrangle Group LLC, was revealed to have paid $150,000 in fees to Morris’s firm to help secure a $10 million Los Angeles investment. Steven Rattner, who directs the Obama administration’s auto industry task force, was a Quadrangle founder.

Boy that Rattner sure does get around.
Seems similar to the leverage of political donations. Give $1000 to a politician to get $1,000,000 in no-bid earmarks.
Pay $150,000 to get $10 million in funds to charge hedge fund like fees. $150,000 should easily be recouped in the first year.

I feel so much better knowing fine men like these are staffing Il Duce's administration.

This is like a Mobster movie. Everyday there is yet another crook connected to "that ones" administration.
I wonder if someone will take it to the bigscreen. It would make a lot of money since this country is so in love with this man and every move he makes.
They could name it THE OBAMA CONNECTION. LOL

Where are all our liberal hypocrites? They complained here almost daily about the corruption in the Bush Administration. Their dear leader is heading the most corrupt government in American history. The Obama-Mugabe Banana Republic strikes again.

They're listening to the Audacity of Soap.
I read a column today calling "I Won" that because of his nanny speech telling everyone to wash their hands. Funny.
