It's bad enough when political types hide behind identity politics to prevent criticism, seeing it invoked on behalf of Nany Pelosi by The Politico is truly disappointing. Apparently the author wasn't blessed with much of a sense of humor. Here's another item by Andi Coller going on about First Ladies not being paid. Is there an ideological trend here?
Speaker Pelosi is probably the most powerful woman on he face of the earth. If she needs to be protected purely because of her gender, maybe she isn't the right man for the job? Certainly, she's done a terrible job at standing up for herself in a clear, honest manner.
That is what should concern Americans, not that the opposition is taking shots at a female speaker for being deceptive and confusing, while accusing the CIA of a crime and putting the kabosh on an investigation into her abuse of the power and privilege of her office.
The wisdom of equating the first woman speaker of the House with a character whose first name also happens to be among the most vulgar terms for a part of the female anatomy might be debated – if the RNC were willing to do so, which it was not. An RNC spokesperson refused repeated requests by POLITICO to explain the point of the video, or the intended connection between Pelosi and Galore.
But what isn’t open to debate is that the waterboarding conflict has been accompanied by a cascade of attacks on the speaker, not as a leader or a legislator, but as a woman.

Hey, Nancy & Company are the ones who started this debate a while back....don't start whining about the continuing debate now.

I've enjoyed the hissy fits the left have thrown, and continue to throw, over this add. It's like watching, dare I write, hysterical women.

LOL Mark.
Hard to believe the House Speaker lacks the ability to speak (lie) clearly. Perhaps her granny panties are too tight? I would rather my daughter's use Nancy Grace as a role model than this dumb ass.

I wonder what her opinion was of the attacks on Sarah Palin?

Why Pelosi's gender matters is a mystery ...
OK, it isn't - it's the identity politician's "get out of jail free" card: she can throw high, hard ones at her opponents, if they return fire they're "beating up on the girl."
Pelosi got tagged with the "James Bond" ad because someone thought it made the point that she's attacking the honor, etc. of OUR "James Bonds".

I am sure that Politico would have another viewpoint if the lady on the receiving end of an attack was named Palin. I find it extremely funny that the leftists came to the conclusion that NP was being portrayed as Pussy Galore. The ad does not say that.

Pelosi is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
This women is the most disgusting piece of work I have ever seen run the house. She is like a child.
Have you ever watched her speak ?
She gets all confused and talks with her hands and points fingers and such. She gets frustrated and pitches a hissy fit when things don't go her way. What an idiot. Watching her make me sick to think we have such a deranged person in Washington running things. DAMN !
Get her out of there already.
