Once they run out of rich bank and industrial CEOs to pillory, they’ll turn on the rich Hollywood and Silicon Valley CEOs, who wanted to salve their guilt at being capitalist with a capital C.

Nope. Should the full flower of Obama's new design for America come to pass, which remains uncertain, there would be a two-tiered class system. Oil wealth will be the next big target as energy prices spike when the economy turns around.

As for the Hollywood elite, they'd be spared. Can you think of a better propaganda ministry? And the Tech elite will do well for a few reasons. Obama doesn't care about their mostly educated work forces. And their brains will be needed given a host of new challenges on a Global scale.

Im short, liberal and wealthy is fine. There will even be an entire new group of rich people from trading in carbon credits and all things Green. Al Gore will not be expected to turn over his wealth. Enviro-friendly tax credits and policies will see to that.

It's the traditional American wealth engines, manufacturing of all sorts, finance and oil Obama will target. In his view they prey on, or exploit people and workers, unlike Hollywood and Silicon Valley. That isn't true, as those industries are as exploitative, or not, as any other. But it won't matter because they mostly think like Obama does.

But Obama does need an upper-class. Who else is he going to invite to his many WH parties?

The Alien in Chief is a Marxist, plain and simple. Perhaps not a hard-core, 24/7 Marxist, but he definitely has Marxist (as well as) Muslim leanings.

Last nights Correspondents was disgusitng. I have watched the coverage of these dinners for years and always found them funny humor. However, This one is the most disgusting one I have ever watched. It just shows you what trashy people we have in the white house !
I did not find it funny at all. Mocking mothers day, wishing Rush Limbaugh's kidneys would fail and on and on. These are the most disgusting people I have witness in a lifetime. There is funny humor and their is disgusting humor. I hope all these people that participated in this BS FAIL. They are not normal people. What was Wanda Sykes thinking? Perhaps more to the point, what was President Barack Obama thinking when he laughed and smiled as the comedienne wished Rush Limbaugh dead?

Although the Left is reporting her White House Correspondents' Dinner speech as "taking shots" at Limbaugh and mocking everyone, that's a gross misrepresentation of what turned into a hateful and disgusting diatribe.

I was at the dinner and I began by laughing at Sykes's gentle teases about the press loving Obama so much they never capture him on film smoking but often seem to get him on the beach.

It was amusing when she quipped that Obama trying so hard to be all things to all men that the next thing is he'll be seen mowing the White House lawn.

But, the speech took a very ugly turn when she laid into Limbaugh.

This is what she said: "Rush Limbaugh said he hopes this administration fails, so you're saying, 'I hope America fails', you're, like, 'I dont care about people losing their homes, their jobs, our soldiers in Iraq'. He just wants the country to fail. To me, that's treason.

"He's not saying anything differently than what Osama bin Laden is saying. You know, you might want to look into this, sir, because I think Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker. But he was just so strung out on OxyContin he missed his flight."

She then concluded: "Rush Limbaugh, I hope the country fails, I hope his kidneys fail, how about that? He needs a good waterboarding, that's what he needs." Obama seemed to think this bit was pretty hilarious, grinning and chuckling and turning to share the "joke" with the person sitting on his right.

There's not much room for differing interpretations of what Sykes said. She called Limbaugh a terrorist and a traitor, suggested that he be tortured and wished him dead.

What was his crime? Hoping that Obama's policies - which he views as socialist - will fail.

That's way, way beyond reasoned debate or comedy and Obama's reaction to it was astonishing.

Imagine if a comedian "joked" that Obama was a terrorist who was guilty of treason and should be tortured and allowed to die. There would justifiably be an outcry.

But when the "joke" comes from a liberal, Obama-supporting comedienne and the target is a right-winger then the likes of Hilary Rosen and Donna Brazile are on CNN saying it's just comedy and Limbaugh is "fair game".

And Obama laughing when someone wishes Limbaugh dead? Hard to take from the man who promised a new era of civility and elevated debate in Washington.

The next groups the WH is coming after -- already started -- are the Army and Marines. They are being set up to be slaughtered in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Goal: demoralize and humiliate those bulwarks of Constitutional America, an essential to the over-all take-down to an Afro-Muslim two-tier system.

It is a two-tier system that is sought but not merely of "rich" and everyone else. It is not money-based. It is race-and religion-based, as in Africa and ME. The money is easily transferred, they think, from the present "rich" to the race-and religion-based elite they claim to be. That transfer is underway now.

After the Army and Marines, the next target is the academic faculties, despite their strong support for this party. Intelligentsiya are among the first to face take down by commu-fascist parties. Reason: if they can promote one ideology, they can promote its opposite and will given their penchant for dialectics.

The same thinking will focus also at some point on Hollywood, so folks there are hardly in the clear. Long run, no party such as this can tolerate even a potentially self-motivated publication capacity. (Heads up bloggers!)

Hollywood would be safe only if it became officially a division of the coming WH staff or cabinet-level department. (see next).

The "bailout" of the liberal media is intended to make their position as ministry of public enlightenment and propaganda for this party not voluntary but official and mandatory. They become a division of the WH staff, or more likely, a new cabinet-level department.

Presumably the editors and their runners in those organizations know this and look forward to its happening. Job security and joy rides on AF One with TOTUS and family over beautiful American port cities and national landmarks.

The tech folks will have a pass because (1) they are fellow "metrosexuals" and (2) they make and market socio-political control apparati.

In amongst those take-downs and set-ups will be like medicine for the traditional industries. The intent will not be to simply nationalize them, as in Venezuela, because they are needed for income. However, the demonization of them will effectively marginalize their morale, as it already has done, and thus depress their productivity.

Oil exploration in this country, for example, is at an advanced stage of shut down in just three months, the rigs laid on the ground, the crews gone. There are huge oil and gas resources in the US. Only about one fourth of the oil has been used. Less than that of the coal and gas.

Then there is the constituent assembly to rewrite the constitution to favor this party and its supports to the exclusion of others. I am surprised that has not happened yet. Chavez said it should -- meaning he knew it would -- and he and this party are brothers. Interesting that this party do not feel safe enough yet to do it.

All of that assumes, as this party does, that this party is omniscient and omnipotent and that nothing can stop its march or even obstruct it.

Meanwhile, the nation's leadership cadre knows for a fact now that this party does not honor its word or the word plighted by others (i.e., contracts).

Apolo Kivebulaya, the great African Saint, said that Africans have two weaknesses that keep them desperate and spreading distress: not keeping the word and promiscuity. His plan for eliminating those weaknesses was teaching Africans to read.

The above post is done somewhat tongue-in-cheek... but is actually rooted in God's treatment of His covenant people, the Israelites and particularly, the Kingdom of Judah (from which come the Jews).

They were given the Law (the Word of God) and shown how to live for God - living Godly lives in accordance to the Law.

They failed.... miserably. (And before you laugh at the plight of the Jews, liberals... just know that it is just as impossible for you to live perfectly by God's Law as it was for them. And your "humanistic utopian ideas" baked in the oven of Marxism some 160 years ago are very stale, and are but a huge pile of fail before God's eyes as well).

God judged - rather sternly - against Israel and Judah's national sins. Both nations went into captivity (Israel was dispersed among the nations, with a very small remnant remaining in Mount Hermon, becoming the Samaritans and ancestors of today's Karaite Jewry... and Judah being more or less restored by King Cyrus of Persia, remaining as a quasi-state/province of a few empires until finally being wiped off the map by the Romans.

Point for us today:

We are certainly not like Israel and Judah - in fact, it may well be that God will deal more harshly with our nation for turning away from Him since we have the lessons of God's word to show us what happens when we reject His love, His Son, and His Word.

We can see that our nation is dying on the vine even now - civil liberties are at an all time low, the police and surveillance state is on the rise.

But there is hope - 2 Chronicles 7:14 tells us that if we return and repent, if we turn back to the Living God, whose name is Jesus, He will forgive our sins and restore our blessings to us:

I am waiting to find out what is loony. Saying something is loony does not make it so, does it? And what is loony? How is one to know what is loony and what is not? What is the standard of measurement? Facts establishing loony-ness? And is not name-calling someone loony an ad hominem argument, and are not ad hominem arguments opprobrious in society, which is by definition genteel?

Something that impresses me about these hopped-up idlers at their keyboards, and the dumbed-down "leaders" they purport to support -- I think they really support maryjane and johnbarleycorn and hourly flits to a public "comfort stations," and are driven urges for the same -- is how enthusiastically and predictably they embody one of Twain's notables, running something along these lines: It is not what we do not know that undoes us but rather what we know that just is not so.

To wit, what is loony, please? If "like a loon" then I should very much like to be one and consider the sobriquet a term of gratifying endearment. They are such beauty on the lakes, in the air of the Adirondacks.

Does this party in the White House treasure loons? If so, I should be a supporter, should I not? It grieves me that the answer to this basic question is, so far at least, repetition of the accusation, apparently, of loony-ness. I should think it rather a compliment. I love loons.

The moral, cultural and spiritual reservoir of ones advancing that "accusation" is dry. The ideology of their party, now in both WH and Congress, is in the phase of senescence. Its onset was in the 18th Century (Rousseau, al Wahhab), first patent as French Revolution. Its rampancy was in the 19th Century (Karl Marx, Edward Wilmot Blyden), first patent as the Russian Revolution. Its senescence was in the 20th Century (Karl Popper, James Cone, Sayyid Kutb), first patent as the Mohammedan Revolutions of 1973 and 2001 (Saudi Arabia) and 1979 (Iran).

Now we are in the late stages of that senescence, with the 11SEP01 aggressors overtaking the mechanisms of government of the object of their hate, the United States of America. As many have pointed out, they overplayed their hand -- they had to, indeed -- as AQI and Sadr did in Iraq -- the former now again in East Africa -- and as Taliban are recapitulating in Pakistan and Afghanistan and the party in the WH and Congress is doing here.

The corruption, the hate speech, the looting, the accusing, the carousing and the cynicism are all signs of culminating senescence. One could wish they had the beauty of loons. I would replace them with loons in a trice!
