Somali pirates have now taken a US-owned tug. That doesn't mean it is crewed by Americans.
NAIROBI, April 11 (Reuters) - Pirates seized a U.S.-owned and Italian-flagged tugboat with 16 crew on Saturday in the latest hijacking in the busy Gulf of Aden waterway, a regional maritime group said.
The last time our illustrious Secretary of State was seen when she wasn't sitting by a set of swings, she was laughing.
The WaPo's saying "But many officials maintain that uncertainty about the intentions of the al-Shabab organization dictates a more patient, nonmilitary approach."
Just great.

Perhaps a goddamned publishing house can take over and remedy this.

Obama's been mulling his response to the ice storms two months ago, along with the current fires all across the south-central US and the tornado outbreak the past few days. Where's Brownie? Where's Bush? Doesn't Bush care? Oh right, it's Barry's FEMA now.
The silence is deafening.

Punked by Pirates! Barry is pathetic...quick send Big Foot Michelle. I'm sure her squinty eyed stare could turn the pirates into stone.

Supposedly the possibility of federal charges against the men has been raised if they are captured. Further, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called for world action to "end the scourge of piracy."
How absolutely ridiculous! Federal charges?! Pirates are summarily executed if caught on the high seas.
Call for world action?! When the pirates of the Barbary Coast were holding up any ship passing to extract ransom the ONLY nation that decided it would not play that game was The United States of America. The USS Constitution went into action off that coast. Of course that was back in 1802. We fought the pirates then and we should now. Who cares what the weak willies of Europe or anywhere else will do.
