For the latest on the flu outbreak, see this - also here. And some analysis of who knew what, when.
American health officials on Sunday declared a public health emergency over increasing cases of swine flu, saying that they had confirmed 20 cases of the disease in the United States and expected to see more as investigators track down the path of the outbreak.

Don't worry! All you have to do is touch Obama's robe and everything will be OK! He is our Messiah!
Just don't go and get one of those shots. You will probably die of cancer or something else down the road from the shot.
I do not have any trust what - so - ever in this government of ours anymore. Didn't have too much before, but now I have none.
Kinda funny that Cnn reported the other day April 22, 2009 that 3 viles of flu virus had been stolen from a place in MD. Now this. Go figure.
These things don't just happen by accident. I used to think when I would hear stuff that it was just a coincidence. Not anymore.
Just two weeks ago someone in England said that the polution of the world was too large. Maybe this is a way to weed them out. Ha. Nothing aboslutely nothing would surprise me anymore. They do not care about you or me.
Guess we all need to just try to do the best we can and enjoy life as much as we can while we are here. Life is shorter than you think. I am not going to let all this BS going on in this country and around the world interrupt my life. Screw this government of our and screw the W.H.O., W.M.F, U.N., New World Order and all these other orginizations that want to tell us how to live. To hell with this global warming BS, the all this green BS is out of control.
I loved our country the way is was before this dictator took over.
Oh yes, those were the days.

WBest. The USA, is no longer what I was brought up to believe. On the other hand, what it is becoming is exactly the reason I was taught to fight for what is right. These still are the days!

I had the flu about a month ago and it was not like any flu I've ever had. Sore throat and a fever of 102. But all I wanted to do was sleep. I slept almost continuously for a couple of days and then about 16 hours a day for a few more. All in all I was sick for two weeks. And it was difficult to get the fever to break.

weren't you guys criticizing the "porkulus" package for having funding for health care and immunizations? "how does that help the economy in a recession?" was the gist of your argument, if I remember correctly.
You are a prescient bunch.

Europe bans travel to Mexico while illegal Mexican swine flu carriers pour across the US boarder...
Will Barry blame Bush if this pandemic worsens....

"Weren't you guys criticizing the "porkulus"...."
Damn right, because with the clowns we have in charge it doesn't make a damn. We have our borders wide open to the swine flu while the swine in the WH play golf.

I sure hope they close the US/Mexico border to keep this virus from spreading.

Hey Lala, how are you now? I had the same thing and it's just not going away. The fever is gone, but the sneezing and sore throat is still here. It's more annoying than anything else. But it seems that a lot of folks here at work seem to have the same sort of thing.
I think that the swine flu is just a bunch of CDC BS. Who knows what's really going on in Mexico?

Xerocky, It wiped me out for quite awhile. My daughter had it too, and I didn't catch it from her or she from me. Her fever went on for 3 days and I made her go to the doctor because I was afraid that she had pneumonia. I've never been sick for that long of a time before. I kept saying that it's a strange illness.

continued -
the sore throat didn't last that long, Hall's took care of that, or I don't remember. The whole episode is fuzzy.

I would never allow them to "make" me get any of their vaccinations. I was reading the other day that back when I was a kid and had to have vaccinations that those very vaccinations may cause cancer.
Maybe that is why I got cancer.(IN REMMISION NOW) I also was growing up when they used DDT on our food crops. Now they are screwing with our seeds for food. Genectically engineered seeds for crops. I don't want my seeds doctored up with insecticides that will grown insect free crops. I am sick of all this crap GOING ON all around us. Sounds like population control to me. Looks like it started many years ago.
If you also remember back in the late 70's when there was some other outbreak that they gave vaccinations for it and people died from the shot.
They can take and all vaccinations out there and shove them.
If I die I die, but it sure as hell want be from any vaccination.
