Was just reading Greenwald's take on the Freeman fiasco. What did he mean by "people like Chuck Shumer," I wonder - or did he really mean to type "those people" instead?
Isn't it rather obvious that at some point, there will be a substantial and understandable backlash as Americans watch people like Chuck Schumer openly boast that anyone who makes "statements against Israel" that he deems "over the top" will be disqualified from serving in our Government, despite a long and distinguished record of public service and unchallenged expertise?

Let's see... it's a four letter word, beginning with J and ending with EWS. Naw. Can't be that. An Jew-hater in Messiah's Holy Administration?

It means exactly what you think it means, especially if you are offended by it. So, it was ugly, offensive, unpatriotic ....
Glenn will be back in the near future to lauding Schumer's "long and distinguished record of public service and unchallenged expertise" despite this open boast, not to mention his own, despite this anti-Semitic Freudian slip, and all will be right in Greenworld.

"Wish that could be said about his detractors. They are low-lives. And if you're among them and by chance read this: I still want to punch you in the face. You'd deserve it, you schmucks."
charles freeman, jr on critics of his dad.
okay...daddy didn't get the job. Apparently his dad has detractors within the admin, itself. Anytime you want to start swinging charlie, I'll give you the address.

Chas had as much expertise as Geithner and we know how well that is working out. Obama changes his theme song to Another One Bites the Dust.
