Media Reax To "D'Ohbama" Over Gaffe

Plenty of domestic press reaction to Obama's not very Olympian gaffe - and the foreign press is having a ball at his expense, as well.

D'Ohbama says the Irish Independent. "Rebuked" in Maine. Insensitive says the KC Star of a blundering Obama. Even the LA Times wasn't "bowled over" by the one.

In Boston the Globe includes an unflattering pic. "Gutter Ball" writes the Denver Post.

You can scan the headlines, most of which aren't good - but leave it to the Governator to come to Obama's defense. But then, as an actor, Ahnold's accustomed to saying whatever he has to to get paid.

Next time take the Teleprompter, Obama - you'd be better off. The TOTUS even has his own blog and seal.

Obama has something seriously wrong with him- what kind of monster mocks the disabled on network television?

I guess whe shouldn't be too surprised by this gauche and downright cruel comment re. the Special Olympics-
no different than his classless cheap-shot on 90-yr-old Nancy Reagan in his first presser.

Narcissists like Obama are often callous- and even ruthless. They tend to lack empathy and/or a conscience. This is evident in his lack of interest in his own half-brother who lives in poverty in Kenya, or his aunt found living in public housing in Boston.

Other indicators include control freakery, grandiose self-importance, feeling "above the law", interpersonally exploitive, inability to handle criticism, lack of empathy, arrogant behavior, surrounds himself with sycophants... sound familiar? Obama is a mess- and his insecurities, bad childhood, and irresponsible, far-left-wierdo mother are now OUR problem, too-

The only real tactless thing in this circus is our president appearing on a show that thrives on mocking anyone and everyone - especially conservative leaders. Leno's stand-up routine any night of the week should cause the PC Police to start screaming as would any of the other late-night stand-up sages of our society. Who the hell are they but cheap entertainers making us laugh at others' expense. Obama made a joke on himself. This morning on Fox, a mother sat on their curvy couch and whined about how this hurt special needs children and adults. Give me a break. She even started a blog: Our Special Needs Special Ones Are Offended. The real special-needs people are those who walk around like self-anointed mini-activists inventing things to be offended by. A hundred years from now textbooks will read: Western civilization offended itself out of existence.

I frankly like the acronym OPTUS for the Office of President's Teleprompter United States and lines up with optic roots. Or maybe USPOT United States President's Official Teleprompter (and it reminds us of the occupant's freewheeling past).
