This via Ace with an informed view. I don't know if Billy the Kid or Robin Hood wore stretch pants, but Ed certainly put on a pair today. There should be a Jeff Goldstein connection as this really is all about outlaws and ultimately folklore. Unfortunately, if you're going to use it as the basis of a political argument you're more likely to convince people you're temporarily out of bullets, or arrows, than that you can win.
