Great Song, but I like Gary Moore's Metal stuff from the 80s much better. The Wild Frontier is one of my favorite albums. By the way, Gary Moore recently lost a plagiarism lawsuit in Germany over Still Got The Blues. Here is the song he allegedly ripped off. Go to about 5:30. It really is too close to be coincidental.

Lordy day in the winter time, that white boy loves music. Thanks, Dan.
One must agree with Mark about that melody, though.

Dan,
If you like Gary Moore's style of blues rock you should give a listen to Robin Trower's latest stuff.
Saw him last year and he still sounds great for a legend. More into Jazz/Fusion (Holdsworth, Cobham, RTF) but Moore has great voice and you can't go wrong with a Les Paul!

Sorry Sac, I actually liked the version Moore ripped-off as ithas more of a Fender edge to the licks. I like the Moore tune I linked okay enough. But for that kind of approach on a Les Paul, Ilike Carlos Santana more. He has the attack, as well as the sustain down better if you ask me. And does more with it. I do like Moore's voice.
