Lest you think these idiots really know what they are doing, consider this - especially as the horse is already out of the barn. And this is only one hurdle of many, especially significant as it would bridge Federal and State. Add in legal fees, time wasted and a possible huge award, and your Congress is multiplying the cost of the AIG bonuses every day. But let's not let that get in the way of our entertainment.
Republican Norwalk State Representative Larry Cafero says insurance giant A.I.G. is using the Connecticut Wage Act, which says if the company does not move forward with its bonuses, could cost double the $165 million and taxpayers would be left with the bill.
