Tigerhawk posts an ad the SEIU is using to shill for Harry Reid on the stimulus in Nevada.
Coburn was reading from the mayoral wish list in the Senate last night to point out what types of projects we'll be spending money on at such a critical time. It's a large pdf but is broken down by state and city - Nevada begins on page 165.
The recreation center in Henderson needs a new "shade structure" and some rehab it seems. Twenty workers and a half million dollars???
A million dollars for a Triangle Area handicap ramp and sidewalk repair with 25 jobs? How many people do we need standing around, exactly? Isn't it hot out there in the sun?
Twenty million for a special needs sports complex yielding 150 jobs? For how long and what about the details? Not there. Ten million for solar panels ... somewhere.
Read it - tens after tens of millions of dollars for golf courses, mob museums and everything else every mayor in Nevada and around the nation might want. And what will get the money, who will get whatever number of jobs there really come from it? Who knows? Not Congress I suspect, that's for sure.
But they will all be government/union jobs, or for only certain union contractors and the right concrete company for the no show stuff ... know what I mean? nudge ... nudge.

Yeah. Let the Unions that broke the Steel Industry, the Railroads and the Auto Industry run things for a while. And in the meantime appoint some Special Prosecutors to go after the Wall Street Gamblers and the Tax Cheats. Fair & Balanced.
