It seems while Obama was giving the nod as vetter-in-chief to Gregory Craig, no one bothered to vet Craig himself. That via this Instapundit link.
White House general counsel Gregory Craig has seized control of Obama's vetting process after a series of nominees with unpaid taxes. But his wife's business may also have avoided taxes. Who vets the vetter?
And a source within the D.C. government has told Culligan that authorities have begun a full-fledged investigation into Noyes Graphics. (The spokesman would not confirm or deny the existence of an investigation.)
Still, it might be prudent to ask just how "full-fledged" any investigation might be given that $2,300 of Noyes Graphics' profit made its way into Obama's campaign coffers via Craig's wife Margaret Craig as listed here via Newsmeat. Too bad she couldn't have used it to pay any potential business-related fees as it seems she was compelled to do by law.
Instead of closing a chapter, Craig has become part of the story himself.
Does a seemingly never ending story actually need chapters? I'm not so sure.

Slight correction to your story: Margaret Craig is not Greg's wife but his daughter. Greg Craig's wife is named Derry Noyes, hence the name of the graphics firm.

Does anyone remember the 62 page Obama questionaire that the One was demanding to be filled out by people wanting to work in the Administration? I guess, if you have connections to the One, you didn't have to fill out the disclosure form or it didn't matter, what you put in.
This is the most ethical, transparent, honest Administration in History, just like Nancy Pelosi promised the most ethical Congress in history, right before she nominated Murtha to be her number 2. Well, Murtha is a number two, come to think of it.
