Geez. This really isn't good. One always hopes that the worst of what you think you're sensing is in part ideologically driven. Evidently in terms of Obama's poor leadership, it's not.

I think it was Morici (forget where I saw him, it wasn't MSNBC) who said that it doesn't make sense to throw 40 billion at Citi when their market cap is only 12 billion.
Of course they're getting mad, and it's about time, everybody's losing tons of money in their 401k accounts, etc.

Well, with the stock price so low they could buy every share outright.

This weekend Carol Browner, the global warming Czarina, announced the EPA would begin to regulate C02 as a pollutant driving up the cost of energy.
On Monday another 250 point loss. It is probably not the only reason for today's loss, but investors would be stupid not to see big increases in energy costs coming soon.

The market opened up, went down a little, then Obama spoke, then it tanked.

Obama is such a hypocritical idiot.
I turn off the TV when he's on and change the channel on the radio when I hear his voice. I'm not buying anything he is trying to sell us.

this 401k thing is a nightmare for obama.
his policies are definitely not pro-business and it's not a hard connection for people to figure out that their retirement account is based on the market.

Poor Chris Matthews. He will need a shrink soon.
Obama is a hypocritical idiot. He allows congress to pull out all their pork projects for the last 40 years and add it to the bill only to appease them so they would go along with all his plans for the next 4 years without oposition.
What he did not realize is that public opinion of what he let them do would go far and beyond what he ever realized. He tried to blow it off a few weeks ago witht he WE WON crap. Well, he is learning real damn quick that those 48% that did not vote for his ass speak loud across this country, and the ones that did vote for him are now realizing they made a big mistake.
"That one" has no clue what to do about anything and all the people he selected to help him are his worst nightmare as they are clueless as well.
Being President of The USA is not a damn chess, checkers or monopoly game.
Impeachment should be in order already ! Damn.

I think Chris Matthews is an idiot! I'm fed up with his bullying people! The President has only been in office 30 plus days!! How in the hell do you expect him to repair this country? Where were all you fruit cakes when George Bush was running this country into the ground? Where was all of your contempt? All of you are amazing! None of those who gave disparaging remarks have a better solution, but rather than wait a bit, one of you on the blog is talking about impeachment! Why the hell didn't you impeach George Bush for going into a country that didn't need an invasion. Why didn't you impeach him when the story came out that he we wiretapping our phones (especially service men)!! You guys are such hypocrites! This country will never be great again, because the people are such idiots! You all deserve people like George Bush, John McCain and Sarah Palin.

Obama did more in 30 days than Bush did in 8 years. Want to save the economy? The obvious solution to me is to fire the remaining GOP from the Senate/House. I can't wait until the next local election.
