Henrietta Hughes was offered a home by Chene Thompson, wife of State Representative Nick Thompson, who heard the homeless woman’s pleas for help to President Obama before a local and national crowd.

So, um, the Democrat Obama was going to send her to the Housing Authority?

One of the many, and one of the best, "difference between liberals and conservatives" sayings is, conservatives are generous with their own money, liberals are generous with someone else's.

If Ms. Thompson is giving the family the use of her house, she is a generous person. If she is giving them the house outright, she is a fool. About 20 years ago in DC, a woman with 15 or so kids made a similar plea to Marion Barry that was widely publicized. Someone gave the family a townhouse, and within a year everything of value (appliances, pipes, wiring, etc.) had been stripped out and sold.

Homeowner Bailouts = Renters Getting Robbed! Homeowners think I should keep the fraudulent value of their homes propped up just because they were part of the greatest criminal conspiracy this country has ever seen. I didn't realize renters were treated as second class citizens in this country. You steal my money to give to people that work at Taco Bell, so they can keep living in a $300K house. Corrupt homeowners think that just because they WISH their house is worth so much - that makes it true.
