It seems there's been a ten point drop in Obama's Presidential Approval Index over the past week according to Rasmussen. He is under 60 for the first time since November 4. And I imagine some Obama staff members are rapidly approaching 60 for the first time regardless of their chronological age. h/t Atlas
Today’s results mark the first time that Obama’s overall rating has fallen below 60% as either President-elect or President.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Approval Index for Sunday shows that 36% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing as President. Twenty-five percent (25%) Strongly Disapprove to give Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +11.
One week ago today, 44% Strongly Approved and 23% Strongly Disapproved to give Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of +21.
A fitting quote:
"For over a thousand years Roman conquerors returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of triumph, a tumultuous parade. In the procession came trumpeteers, musicians and strange animals from conquered territories, together with carts laden with treasure and captured armaments. The conquerors rode in a triumphal chariot, the dazed prisoners walking in chains before him. Sometimes his children robed in white stood with him in the chariot or rode the trace horses. A slave stood behind the conqueror holding a golden crown and whispering in his ear a warning: that all glory is fleeting." - Gen. George C. Patton

Hmm, Maybe Barakus Caesar should stay away from the senate........."And you Brutus?"

"Oh now all of a sudden conservatives are citing polls."
Only because they are sooooooo important to you. Mostly they should be ignored by non-believers.

The masses are starting to see through the rhetoric of the great Xerxes!
After all "I won", just ask him. You know he was descended from the heavens to bless us with his greatness!
What a tool, he actually expected rational thinking folks to buy his bullshit! He completely ignores the 57 million that voted AGAINST him in his justification for his grand troll conversion process.
What is more enjoyable is the ghetto response to those that dare to question him! He just comes across as a whiny little bastard! (Wait he already is a whiny little bastard!)
His off the cuff remarks continue to show him a be a classless act. I have never seen a President act less Presidential in my life. He has no style or grace, just a punkass response to ANY questioning of his grand plan!
Well I say screw you to him and his traitorous pals' attempts to bring MY country to ruin. Watching him this past month it has become painfully obvious that he is NOT my president. There were 50+ million of us that said "NO" to his socialist agenda and we haven't simply disappeared. Had he "ruled" from a more moderate position maybe he could have been tolerable.
I have talked to many conservatives that say they plan to become more engaged and get involved in the house elections in 2010!
And everybody knows the only poll that matters to a troll queen like Theresa is Daily Koz for crying out loud!

This is what happens when the dog catches the car. It gets run over. Couldn't happen to a more worthy guy.
