Well, that could be sweet to see and interesting to watch.
Republicans in Washington think they may have found their man to pick up a Senate seat in Connecticut in 2010....
In an interview yesterday, Mr. Kudlow confirmed to me that he did sit down for dinner with Senate Republican Campaign Committee Chairman John Cornyn “to hear him out on the idea.”

"I at least find it hard to see how the federal government can meet its long-term obligations without some tax increases on the middle class."

Great. Larry Kudlow who totally embraces deficits and debt in the name of growing the economy, at any cost to the long term future of this country. Isn't that what contributed to the mess we're in now? $11 trillion in national debt, with almost all of it accumulated in the last 28 years? It's a failed economic philosophy with the proof being our economic reality today, with our national debt out of control.
You can see Larry espousing his love for deficits and debt in the last few seconds of this video:

And, maybe during the campaign Larry can explain how he could have been so wrong on his prognostications for the stock market since the October, 2007 peak. I wonder if he feels any remorse for having helped to eviscerate the portfolios of gullible members of his viewing audience through his nightly parade of overly optimistic economic debates, packed with the Don Luskins and Art Laffers of the world parroting his pollyannish views, where the token bears were smacked down with venom. Maybe he can let us know.

I guess you would rather keep Dodd in there, eh Todd? I'd take Kudlow over Dodd any day, if I had a choice, which I don't, but I'll send a contribution. Todd, you seem to always be working for the Democrats. Odd.

"Larry Kudlow who totally embraces deficits and debt in the name of growing the economy"
how do you reconcile complaining about deficits and debt from kudlow, with praising them from Obama?
democratic debt is good, gop debt is bad?
if Dodd's misdeeds aren't enough for you to try and dust off a primary challenger-ned lamont-does that mean you'd give the same free pass to any gop senator guilty of the same criminal behavior?

What I'm saying is I'd like to see someone different than Larry Kudlow. He will trot out the same old, hackneyed ideas, and anyone who loves debt and deficits is not my idea of a solid candidate from either party. I'd like to see someone more along the lines of Ron Paul. Obviously, Paul is not going to run in CT, but that's the type of pol I'm looking for. Kudlow is so disingenous it's ridiculous. I pity those investors who listened to his line of b.s.
And, no, I don't like Dodd either. He sucks.
