WASHINGTON (AFP) – Amnesty International and a pro-Tibet group voiced shock Friday after US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton vowed not to let human rights concerns hinder cooperation with China.
They couldn't have been talking to "our" Hillary? Alas, change you can't believe in. What a shame.
Hillary Clinton is calling on President Bush to stay away from the Olympics opening ceremonies in Beijing this summer. The Olympic torch run through Europe has been disrupted by human rights protesters. Many proposals are emerging about the level of participation that the U.S. and its athletes should adopt.

every lib with a pic of the dali lama in their 'shrines' at home, just blew out their hemmerhoids.
"Free tibet?"
not if it upsets our 'bank of last resort'.
(take note libs, bush met with the dalai lama. obama has not earned china's permission.)

The Democratics are the most hypocrital craps of all time. Hell, there is a special category for the Democratic Party under the word hypocrite in the dictionary, or there should be.

I have to laugh at the 'fiscal summit' obama is going to stage.
This is like a bunch of addicts, fearing that they be treated to an intervention by their country, is going to stage an their own intervention.
The number one way out of this?
tax cuts.
The number one ideological idea that the dems and the msm has pushed?
tax cuts don't work.
obama still 'has a dream'...
rich white(and black) folk will pay 40% from the top income. If he doesn't achieve this goal he will feel empty.
If he doesn't seriously back off on dem ideology about tax cuts, and his obsession with 'making the rich pay (for their sins)', this country is going to go 'splat'.

The economy is an important issue and there is much pressure to work together to get it back on track, but it is more pressing than human rights?
Are we trampling our principles in order to get the economy back on track? If we back down on the importance of human rights for the expediency building the economy, what does that say about our priorities and the cost of human suffering?
