Get ready to be either frustrated or angry. You funded it. I had to go to an Irish press aggregation site to find this. It's at the bottom of a very long page, so scroll at link - maybe 6 paragraphs from the bottom.
PBS' Frontline is airing a documentary on the causes of the economic collapse Tuesday: Inside the Meltdown. They point out one possible weakness with the work. Thank God PBS isn't biased.
Mr. Dodd and Representative Barney Frank, Democrat of Massachusetts, are the only members of Congress interviewed in the piece, which is a weakness. Many voters hold Republicans and Democrats equally responsible for oversight failures. “Frontline” holds these politicians up as reliable, unbiased witnesses, but some viewers may feel they don’t deserve that trust.
Update: And the Dems want a Fairness Doctrine? Add that to this. I wonder if they got their pay-off? If Republicans had any $%^^&, they would have shut PBS down while in power. And if Republicans were invited to be involved and said no, we should know who and why.
Public radio and public television — already funded with your money to the tune of some $400 million in direct federal handouts and tax deductions for contributions made by individual viewers, not to mention untold state grants and subsidies — want a big chunk of Barack Obama’s stimulus pie (a.k.a. the Generational Theft Act of 2009). And they are deadly serious.

Just saw this, wow, wonder if it will be only "older folks who protested in their youth" or a cross section of every age group? Was surprised that it was happening in Seattle but I guess they are "sleepless":
The protest against the porkulus is on for President’s Day!
Date: Monday, February 16th
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Westlake Park in downtown Seattle, 401 Pine St., in the open area by the big arch.

It's (a) FRONTLINE and (b) PBS. Should we be surprised?

Even the girl in the NYTimes thought it was a problem:
"Mr. Dodd and Representative Barney Frank, Democrat of Massachusetts, are the only members of Congress interviewed in the piece, which is a weakness. Many voters hold Republicans and Democrats equally responsible for oversight failures. “Frontline” holds these politicians up as reliable, unbiased witnesses, but some viewers may feel they don’t deserve that trust."
OK. It's a softball. But last year the NYTimes would not have noticed.

Fannie and Freddie, while being run by Clinton cronies, had nothing to do with the meltdown--I mean, all they did was buy billions of subprime (junk) mortgage loans that they then spread them to Wall Street. Since Barney and Dodd were cheerleaders for Fannie and Freddie (while lining their campaign chests with Fannie and Freddie money), they should not be held accountable.
The very folks who created this meltdown are called on to rescue us. How classic is this?

What I'm noticing about this whole situation is that from all appearances, neither of those two idiots seem to feel any shame for their actions.

Very glad I saw this. I was going to watch the documentary, but I'm not watching 2 of the primary causes of the meltdown (and 2 of the crookedest members of Congress) flap their lying yaps about it. PBS and the Frontline folks must seriously think we're stupid. I know who's stupid: the limo lib crowd who eats this sh!t up.

it's going to be a long time before people are outraged at Democrats. they have media reinforcements. and they have brainwashed about 2 or 3 generations of kids and people via the schools and media. i think the love affair of democrats may deepen before it subsides. sites like this can "chatter" all they want. i agree STRONGLY that this type of message needs to get out. however, the fact is that like, what, a couple thousand people are going to read this. Frontline wins. NY Times wins. CBS wins. NBC wins. CNN and MSNBC and Newsweek and Time and NPR and PBS and on do the line... they have this country heading THEIR direction for their faithful party of everything, the Democrats of our adoration.
