Rush is about as theatrical as I've ever seen him (saw him in D.C. a few years ago) but very good. This is the first time we've watched FNC in months; we boycott all news these days. The crawls with quotes from the Panic President are making me sick.
I give Rush a 9 out of 10. He is the ONLY leader we conservatives have.

he was good. like a straight nathan lane.
it is good to see him get out, even if it was the safest of audiences.
for laughs he should have made himself available to the msm, and call on the ones whose questions were prescreened.
it's not like the media does 'pretend' their questions are authentic for interviews with obama.

post some links to that guy accusing obama of not being born in the us. That was sterling wingnut.

I enjoyed Rush's speech yesterday. I watched all 85 minutes of it. He is funny and entertaining. I am not a ditto head however. Sometimes I feel he has hurt the Republican party more than he has helped it. Too far out of the mainstream he attracts to many whackos and that is not attractive to educated thinking people. In other words Rush maniacs need to listen to him less for how and what to think and start thinking for themselves. Rush is a comedian and entertainer. But not someone to be taken seriously. Obama is right on that score.

The best part about Rush's speech was where he said that conservatives don't need to come up with better policy ideas than Democrats. That's the ticket guys! Who cares about how your ideas work out. All that matters is that you are in power, right?
