I don't care what anyone thinks of this Geert Wilders. This is not about him. Especially so given some of the characters we see crossing international borders everyday, including into the UK.
A Dutch MP who called the Koran a "fascist book" is to be sent back to the Netherlands after attempting to defy a ban on entering the UK.
What a severely stupid, if not actually criminal defense of cowardice this is.
Foreign Secretary David Miliband told the BBC's Hardtalk: "The home secretary made a decision on an individual case as she is required to do."
He added that the film contained "extreme anti-Muslim hate and we have very clear laws in this country".
Mr Miliband also said: "We have profound commitment to freedom of speech but there is no freedom to cry 'fire' in a crowded theatre and there is no freedom to stir up hate, religious and racial hatred, according to the laws of the land."
This is a country that almost routinely has protesters in its streets with signs and shouts of Death to America ... to Israel ... and even to Britain herself. Or have they all been expelled in some earth shattering bit of International news I missed?
What a complete disgrace.
I'm almost ashamed to think that, as a nation, America shed blood and gave lives to ever come to their defense.
Perhaps we should have left it go at having made war against them to secure our own freedom and let them hang during two world wars. What was the point given their obvious decision to simply hang themselves?
Good Lord. They should exhume Churchill's body and get him off that miserable island before the flood to come.
Not in our lifetime, hopefully, but there will be much blood in the streets of London one day because of ugly decisions like this.
Not only will there blood in the streets in that country. I see it coming to America as well in the future. Sad, but I see it coming.
Times are not very peachy right now.
Socialism, communism, marxism will not stand in this country for long.
