Steele wins. 91 votes ! I am so happy with this. He is a really good guy.
I know this will ad a lot to the Republican party. I am sure it will.
God bless Micheal Steele !
"Get ready baby, it's time to turn it on !" .... Said Steele.

And he is labeled "Affirmative Action President" in 3... 2... 1...
No? That's only for Democrats? Ok, my bad.

It ain't always about race troll!

No matter how much you and the other moonbats try!

Actually, I do not care what he is for. He is a fair and decent respected man.

Affirmative action -
The term affirmative action refers to policies that take gender, race, or ethnicity "into account" in an "attempt" to promote equal opportunity. The focus of such policies ranges from employment and public contracting to educational outreach and health programs--->>> (such as breast or prostate cancer screenings).

~ Now that is not so bad is it ~ ??
At least people can "work" for a living and not get handouts for doing nothing.

Funny you should say that, Sac.

"-- AND SMOKING CRACK IN THE OVAL OFFICE! IS THAT CRUNK OR WHAT? --"

I'm just say'n.

Today's GOP: We're not angry racist xenophobes! Look at our chairman! Someone needs to photoshop one of those Stephen Colbert pics where he's got his arm around the black guy showing how he has black friends. Only instead of COlbert, they need to put the GOP elephant. Priceless!

Typical troll, So a humorous reference to Barry's admitted cocaine habit using modern metaphors like "CRUNK" is racist!

You see the attempt here was to inject some humor and political satire. I realize it is hard for a simple minded troll like yourself to understand these concepts when your hate overwhelms most everything in your sad and pathetic life.

As far as race baiting it is the socialist moonbats like yourself that attempt to inject race relations everytime a person of color is in the room!

Now ain't that Crunk!

Hey, you said it, not me.

Crunk - I do not think that word means what you think it means. But you do appear to have mastered irony.

Oops - another Dem with a tax problem

"The Cadillac and driver were never part of Daschle's official compensation package at InterMedia but Mr. Daschle -- who as Senate majority leader enjoyed the use of a car and driver at taxpayer expense -- didn't declare their services on his income taxes, as tax laws require.

During the vetting process to become HHS secretary, Daschle corrected the tax violation, voluntarily paying $101,943 in back taxes plus interest, working with his accountant to amend his tax returns for 2005 through 2007.

(Mr. Daschle reimbursed the IRS $31,462 in taxes and interest for tax year 2005; $35,546 for 2006; and $34,935, a Daschle spokesperson said, adding that Daschle had asked his accountant to look into the tax implications of the car and driver five months before Mr. Obama won the presidency."

'The American Resolve'
Michael Steele Elected RNC Chairman!
Congratulations Michael Steele!

The Republican Party chose the first black national chairman in its history Friday, just shy of three months after the nation elected a Democrat as the first African-American president. The choice marked no less than “the dawn of a new party,” declared the new GOP chairman, former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele. Republicans chose Steele over four other candidates, including former President George W. Bush’s hand-picked GOP chief, who bowed out declaring, “Obviously the winds of change are blowing.”

Steele takes the helm of a beleaguered Republican Party that is trying to recover after crushing defeats in November’s national elections that gave Democrats control of Congress put Barack Obama in the White House.

GOP delegates erupted in cheers and applause when his victory was announced, but it took six ballots to get there. He’ll serve a two-year term.

A month ago, my co-hosts and I interviewed Michael Steele on The American Resolve to discuss his bid for chairman. We are working on having him an again soon to discuss his victory.

UPDATE: Here’s a profile of the Man of Steele:

He was born at Andrews Air Force base in Prince George’s County, Maryland on October 19, 1958 and subsequently adopted. This African American child was then raised in a family of Democrats. His political turn to the Republican Party did not come from his having attained success in almost every endeavor he has undertaken, which he has. Rather, according to this well spoken and inspiring man, it came from watching the lived example of his mother, Maebell and hearing the convincing positions of a man named Ronald Reagan.

Michael Steele’s mother suffered a tragedy in 1962 when her husband, Michael’s father, died of liver disease. She went to work and through her sacrifice raised him and his sister on a minimum wage job. Her ethic of hard work and deep dedication to her children were an inspiration to her young son. They have also been replicated in him, according to those who know him best. He is considered one of the hardest working and most ethical public servants in American political life.

HOPE FOR THE REPUBLICAN PARTY ? I "hope" so.
