Imagine if you paid out so much in taxes you had none left to give to charity.

This is why I am a Conservative, I love giving directly to charity rather than giving my charity directly to a government overlord.

The way I see it, by the time the government overlord pays itself for collecting the charity to help those in need, they never ever ever never have enough money remaining to help those in need they promised to help.

Cruel approach really, the government overlord 'caring for the needy'...cruel.

I don't give a dime to charity. I've always believed in cutting out the middleman and giving directly to a needy local family. That way I know for sure it goes to good use. Every single penny.

But good luck with the food bank. It sounds like a good thing.
