Glenn updates indicating that Foreign Nationals can't donate to political campaigns in California - that holds for ballot measures, as well. See here.
Sorry, but no pass for Andy in my view, not when you bleg for a cause over and over.
Andrew's husband is Aaron Tone.
Tone's family, from Plymouth, Mich., also attended the nuptials.
If one is either too lazy or too cheap to make out however small a check in your mate's name for what you think is such an important cause to go on about it asking other's to donate as Andrew did, you get no pass from me. Sorry.

I find this amusing for a number of reasons.
First off, you haven't really demonstrated that Aaron failed to donate, only that you can't find a listing of his name. Donations under $200 are - as you often bemoaned in the Obama fundraising "scandals" - annoymous. Why would an individual donor want to remain annoymous when the climate between pro and anti-gay activists have been so civil? Who knows.
Second off, while you at least have the decency to note your error - Sullivan can't legally donate to support Prop 8 as he's not a US Citizen - you fail to apologize for your error and instead plow forward with your unfounded assertion that Sullivan is a cheapskate.
Finally, you make a rather laughable claim that a blogger need max out his contributions before he is allowed to extoll others to support a cause. Worth noting then that "Riehl, Dan" has donated a penny in the 2008 campaign season.

Funny, that.

Besides which, I thought that Sullivan was a naturalized citizen.
