Until I see otherwise, it's basically my take, too. The only thing I'd add is that I do wonder if Obama isn't going to try to do some sort of balancing act that ultimately pleases no one in the end but him.

Rhetoric? Listen to him espouse that rhetoric and you know he has no foundation in anything except the strings that control him. Woe that they should break.

Agreed. There's no way he'll make it to the US Senate much less the Presidency. He's a leaf on the wind without any political future and he's too dumb to know it.
