If you read this WaPo account of things in Pennsylvania, you'd almost be convinced that a crowd of 7,000 McCain supporters were pumped up, then immediately deflated by some few Obama protesters outside when they left a rally with VP nominee Sarah Palin. The problem is, their account doesn't match the on the ground evidence, including video contained below.
But after Palin spoke, the crowd exited the arena to a somber reminder of the difficult task ahead. More than two hundred Obama supporters stood across the street, handing out bumper stickers and waving signs. As the Palin crowd walked by, a few student Democrats held up a sign showing Obama's lead in the Pennsylvania polls, and began to taunt.
" Scoreboard," they chanted, over and over.
Stacy McCain has covered Palin in PA. Here's his report. Also, from a friend near State College, PA two items: McCain/Palin yard signs abound and while Palin drew 7,000, the next day, same venue, Bill Clinton only drew 1,500.
Driving back from Pennsylvania tonight, I kept thinking about those thousands of people I saw standing in line -- and I mean, they stood in line for hours -- waiting to see Sarah Palin at Shippensburg University.
Buddy, it was cold. Maybe 40 degrees, cloudy skies and a stiff wind. I walked the length of that line. It stretched on and on, around the corner, and on and on some more. It was amazing. The doors opened more than two hours before the rally, and still they couldn't get everybody through the metal detectors in time.
The WaPo might like to think and to have you think McCain supporters in PA have given up. Judging from this sometimes confrontational video below, I simply don't think that's the case. More at link.

Dan, the Washington Compost and other MSM rags are simply following the same script that the Astrourfers are.
Keep pounding the message that there is "no chance", "all is lost" and send home the message that there is nothing but the god king Xerxes.
The problem is that we STILL vote on Tuesday and no amount of money, media hype or Chicago hack politics will stop rational thinking and engaged voters from following their own common sense and rejecting the Socialist State that Xerxes wants.

Oh, WOW !!! McCain/Palin yard signs abound near State College, PA !!!!! How exciting and encouraging !!
Well, if you have a yard sign for McCain/Palin and that makes your single vote count for 10,000 votes then maybe McCain/Palin really will win. Only in the Riehl World will that happen.

" " Scoreboard," they chanted, over and over."
Wow. That's such a jockish thing to say for a group of pussy progressives. Maybe one of them picked it up in the marching band in high school.
