I believe this would be the ACORN for which Obama worked as a trainer? The one to which he funneled money via the Annenberg Challenge? The one Democrats recently tried to funnel money to as well?
Do they not have any respect left at all for honest voting in this democracy?
LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote.
A Nevada secretary of state's office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.No one was at the ACORN office when state agents arrived with a search warrant and began carting records and documents away.
Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh says ACORN is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with false and duplicate names.
The raid comes two months after state and federal authorities formed a task force to pursue election-fraud allegations in Nevada.

A: ACORN!!!! LARRY SINCLAIR!!!! HUSSEIN HUSSEIN HUSSEIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JEREMIAH WRIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"doesn't want anyone to look at democrat voter fraud"
look away, asshat. Corruption is corruption. Let justice be done however it shakes. Just like Republican's voter caging in Southern swing states.
I'm just laughing at how pathetic and desperate not just the Republican party, but the entire conservative movement has become. It's so transparent that this Acorn thing isn't about corruption, but a way to tell themselves McCain's impending ass kicking wasn't because Republicanism or Conservatism lost. It was because Obama cheated.

jaime, you better tell the guy who is posting on the yahoo finance boards.
He is saying the republicans won by cheating so the dems are going to win no matter what even if they have to cheat. Did he not get the same talking points as you?

Obama is ahead in every poll taken within the last week in Nevada. Did ACORN invent everyone who answered a phone in the state out of whole cloth?

LOL....like we should expect Obama shill Jaime to condemn the organization to which Obama is making illegal campaign contributions for just this sort of voter fraud.

And as for market deregulation, the answer is simple: "Moderator, in 2005, I personally advocated for an increase in regulatory activity of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, who were, at the time, purchasing enormous amounts of risky subprime mortgages, bundling them as securities, and then selling them to investors as government-guaranteed -- an activity which, it is generally agreed, is the underpinning of this current crisis.
Meanwhile, Senator Obama was insisting that there was no crisis, that selling risky mortgage securities was not dangerous, and that the government should continue to encourage it -- all while he was receiving the second-highest amount in donations that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac made to any active politicians. Following this collapse, he then turned to two advisors for assistance -- Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson, the CEOs of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, respectively, both of whom encouraged this increased dangerous risk-taking and who pocketed millions of dollars in salary and bonuses for doing so. These men have advised him that, instead of requiring those who took out loans that they could not pay to pay them, he should reduce or cancel these loans, essentially giving people who would not or could not manage their money a free house at taxpayer expense."

"It was because Obama cheated."
Like the way he stole the TX primary with fraud? The Hillary people are still pretty pissed off over that.

I know PA, you have to wonder how diabolical this guy really is that he could outfox the dynamic duo of shall we say, unconventional campaigning.

Can you believe that Obama started off with the answer to the first question with a damn lie.
It is Bush's fault for the whole Economy mess. What a ******* lie. What a scumbag Obama is.
Poof be gone !

Senator Obam seems to like John McCain's ideas. He is doing to McCain what he did to Hillary, stealing all of John McCain's good ideas. This is not right, don't people read his stuff on the web. I'm thinking he should read it so he can at least sound like he agrees with himself.

My friends, your angry old candidate is an embarrassment. An hour and a half of old, tired and confused. Willard may be a cultist who wears wacky underwear but at least he knows how to debate.
Geez....

Can someone send me a reference detailing Obama's ties to ACORN? I find articles that mention it, but nothing really specific. ie when was he involved with them? what did he do for them?
It would seem that without this information, the linked article is somewhat irrelevant?

There have been a couple of very solid posts to the yahoo finance apple message board. Those guys have it nailed down.
I know dan has a lot of information scattered in his various articles.
I haven't really gone hunting for "specifics" although I assumed if I wanted them that sean hannity would have them. Instead I go by what my mom always screamed at me when I was a teen. She'd say "Know thee by thy friends"!

Booby, the fact that the Obama can't even beat an angry old candidate in a debate ought to give you pause. Obama just plain sucks, it's quite obvious he was another one of those affirmative-action hires.
In other news of interest, I saw a map of the credit defaulters in the Wall Street Journal this morning, and it's quite obvious where the problems are. Both coasts and the large cities in between. I wonder why scum in blue states and blue cities don't pay their bills. Damn parasites.

Hi Mary,
Your post highlights my point. All the posts and information I have seen allude to some sort of sinister relationship with ACORN, but no one can point me to anything concrete. I have read Dan's links and I see nothing but heresay. Give me a link. In the meantime, I will look on Yahoo as you suggest.

Moldy, as I said last night, with me it is "know thee by thy friends".
He hangs with some pretty "interesting" characters, first among them "militant michelle".
Notice, "militant michelle" has been banished just like bill. She has been relegated to library meetings at schools and other non threatening fare. Wonder if she is seething underneath it all like Bill and if it is just a matter of time before her volcano blows?
He is tolerable, she is very unbearable. At least Cindy has a lovely personality and a good heart.

"--- Senator Obam seems to like John McCain's ideas. He is doing to McCain what he did to Hillary, stealing all of John McCain's good ideas. ---"
The Democrat Debating Credo:
"When in doubt, plagiarise like there's no record of what he said".
And where something doesn't exist, make it up out of whole cloth.
Lyin' Joey "Hairplugs" Biden, Billy-Jefferson "BJ" Clinton, Hilly-Roddy "invisible snipers" Clinton, Barney "Quick, hide the rentboys in the basement" Frank...
...the list could go on for quite some time.
