While I don't care for the current state of the race, Yahoo's new political dashboard isn't bad.

As Sarah Palin might say: "Golly gee, that map is sooo colorful. I wonder why they went with blue and red though? And easy for Joe Sixpack and all of the hockey moms to figure out too, dontcha know!"
Seriously, it is good. This one is too

Palin demonstrated real American "street smarts".
She is not a snooty Ivy-League educated politician (i.e. Kerry, Hillary); Palin is refreshingly real and in touch with everyday American families and their concerns.
PALIN 2012!!!!!!!

"Palin is refreshingly real and in touch with everyday American families and their concerns."
I guess that Joe Six Pack likes the winking and smirking.
It's really pathetic that all you 'conservatives' have is an angry old man and a complete incompetent.
I may not like Romney but you have to concede that he was a MUCH better candidate.

2. Yahoo's political dashboard isn't new.

According to Peggy Noonan Sarah "killed". Think she might be trying to suck up for the "it's over" comment??
In any case, Peggy is so 1984.

Not real sure why they are giving Virginia to Obama. Today's local poll shows McCain up by 3%. Once Northern Virginia becomes its own socialist state, the rest of Virginia will fall in line.

"--- I may not like Romney but you have to concede that he was a MUCH better candidate. ---"
Twice in one year I agree with "chris" (the other time had to do with some choices of beer).
There must be some unusual alignment of the planets or something going on.
My pick at that point would have been Fred Thompson, although at that time I didn't think he'd be such a worthless stalking horse. Mitt was my back-up choice, but that was before I started to dig into what Dr. Ron Paul was on about... before I learned how most of neoconservatism is but rubbish and crap-weaseldom.
McCain was (and still is, in my opinion) the very worst, dodgiest choice for a presidential candidate.
Here's a question for the sake of being completely morbid: if McCain were to depart this plane of existence, to go home to be with the god he serves, would Sarah Palin take his place as the presidential candidate, or would the GOP convene hastily to appoint one of the runner-ups (likely Mitt) or some other person high on the GOP seniority list?
