Obama's fraudulent fund raising story is finally making some waves.
Which brings us to the case of Mary T Biskup of Manchester, Mo, who discovered there were scores of small on line donations made to the Obama campaign in her name, even though she hasn't given him a dime. They added up to $174,800, which is a wee bit over the $2,300 limit. This very generous donation was not billed to her own card, but to someone else's - meaning (as the Post says) "someone appropriated her name".
Ah, but who? And, if just one unwitting front is responsible for 175 grand of the Obama take, how many other Mary T Biskups are there out there?
One hundred and seventy-five G's illegally? Someone must really want some influence in an Obama regime. I wonder which Middle-eastern country that might be? It seems fair to ask, given the LA Times on going nonsense about not releasing the Khalidi tape. I can't personally speak to the veracity of this below. But if Obama is going to hide behind fraud and deceit, I guess he really doesn't have a right to complain about any speculation at all.
Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can't release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis."
It would be really controversial if it got out. That's why they will not even let a transcript get out.
Heck, who knows? Maybe he just shouted-out "Death to Israel!" to get in the spirit of things? Well, it is possible, after all ... since we can't view the actual tape, or see a full transcript. Funny that the LA Times didn't simply take that out. Hmmm.
Whatever the case, this guy who was once registered as a Muslim at an Indonesian school sure seems to have a lot of terrorist and terrorist sympathizing friends. Maybe he isn't ready to be President of the United States. Ya think? At the very least, it's pathetic judgment for a would be pol.

"Wow, $175k. That's more than that idiot woman's wardrobe." And what is your IQ and what are your accomplishments in life? Anything over a Mayor or governor? What level of degree's from community college do you hold, or are you just a graduate of reform school (now called juvie hall)?
90% of Hussein O's take has came from the criminal element in terrorist countries. Anyone really believe the 'poor' gave him $150M in one month. If they did there are some real cuts that can be made in the welfare system. Maybe enough to balance the budget for years to come.
Hussein O is holding firm on his 'no tax increase' for those making less than $250K, um $200K, well, uh $150K per year. Well after thinking about it he will not raise the taxes on the 40% who pay no federal taxes today, maybe.

Credit-card experts explain the extent of Obama’s deception

After writing twice about the deliberate decision by the Barack Obama campaign to avoid validation checks on credit-card contributions, I’ve heard from a number of people in the credit-card industry on how this works. Two explanations in particular explain the depth of deliberation and deception involved in disregarding address and security-code verification. The first explains that Team Obama probably didn’t just opt out of using these verification processes, but more likely rewrote the code on their site to bypass them, emphases mine:

"I mean, that IS the point of all this Redistribution nonsense, right?"
No, you filthy creep. Drag race into everything, will you? Why I...why... Really, Why? Don't you, in your fevered brain, ever entertain the idea that people may want to hold onto and increase their assets no matter what color they are. The tax system already overtaxes the "rich" and the cautious and the honest. At least those foolish enough to not take advantage of the many many loopholes provided by congressional politicians to avoid taxes. Do you have any idea how large and complex the tax code is?
And how dare you bring up the race issue with this subject, sicko. Race has nothing to do with my right to my own property.

You want to help the Government obtain more dough, Jame? How laudable. Why don't you and your band from Sherwood Forrest just add some spondulaks to your tax return this year? The IRS will keep it if you ask them too. I believe taxes should be used to pay the legitimate work of the government, not to buy votes nor to support some politician's mad agenda previously shown to be unworkable.

"You're old enough to remember the good old Fifties when the top tax rate was 92%."
I didn't need to worry about it so I paid little attention. However, I bet the super rich didn't pay the top rate then any more than they do now. Besides, the Congress sets tax rates, not Gerald Ford or any other President. In any case a tax rate like that was obscene then as it is now. Recent years have proven that the government receives more revenues when taxes are relatively low than when they are relatively high. The trouble with Obama is he's admitted that he doesn't care as much about increasing revenues to the government through taxes as he does about using the tax system as a welfare system, which is an abomination. If he wants to increase welfare, work on getting it passed. He's a senator for God's sake. He is allowed to introduce bills. Why hasn't he done so?

Twas the night before elections
And all through the town
Tempers were flaring
Emotions all up and down!
I, in my bathrobe
With a cat in my lap
Had cut off the TV
Tired of political crap.
When all of a sudden
There arose such a noise
I peered out of my window
Saw Obama and his boys
They had come for my wallet
They wanted my pay
To give to the others
Who had not worked a day!
He snatched up my money
And quick as a wink
Jumped back on his bandwagon
As I gagged from the stink
He then rallied his henchmen
Who were pulling his cart
I could tell they were out
To tear my country apart!
'On Fannie, on Freddie,
On Biden and Ayers!
On Acorn, On Pelosi'
He screamed at the pairs!
They took off for his cause
And as he flew out of sight
I heard him laugh at the nation
Who wouldn't stand up and fight!
So I leave you to think
On this one final note-
IF YOU DON'T WANT SOCIALISM
GET OUT AND VOTE!!!!

She said there were quotas of voter registration forms for workers and that some were fired for not meeting them.
"The (voter) cards are tied to money. The more cards you get the more money you get," Moncrief said.

McCain would stand by this statement today. He is for leaving the tax code mostly as is. It is Obama who is proposing drastic, catastrophic changes to the tax system that will cripple the US economy as it enters recession. His ideas are based on voodoo math and sleight-of-hand. Only a moron would support such a tax plan.

The Alaska Trust was set up in 1976. It is in the state's constitution. Palin found out the oil companies were not paying what they were supposed to be paying according to the constitution It is no different than my town charging the cable company, the phone company, and the gas company
fees for putting their cables and lines through the town.

--Oh, and John McCain flew to Wahington and fake suspended his campaign to help partially nationalize the banks and throw some pork to Republican districts in the process.
He also wants to buy up every bad mortgage in the country rather than let the free market do what it will.
jaime, the boy with the girls name, your uncle barry supports all of the moves you just ascribed to John McCain. We are certinly seeing unprecedented intervention in the economy to rectify the idiocy of the frank/dodd collussion with fannie and freddie. We have no choice.
--But John McCain is NOT a socialist. Why?
Because he does not propose to institute the most punitive tax program in history at precisely the wrong time, as we head into a recession. The economic slowdown can be shallow and short if we keep taxes low for everyone. It will be deep and wide if uncle barry buys enough votes with his promise to write checks to citizens who pay no taxes.
--Shut up, that's why.
profound, jaime. really.

No, she followed the law - and my taxes are lower because the town makes money from the utilities, or at least it's supposed to be lower, but Dems are in charge, so I don't know.
The Alaska Permanent Fund is a constitutionally established fund, managed by a semi-independent corporation, established by Alaska in 1976. Shortly after the oil from Alaska’s North Slope began flowing to market through the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System, the Permanent Fund was created by an amendment to the constitution of the U.S. state of Alaska to be an investment for at least 25% of proceeds from some minerals [such as oil and gas] sale or royalties. The Fund does not include either property taxes on oil company property nor income tax from oil corporations, so the minimum 25% deposit is closer to 11% if those sources were also considered. The Alaska Permanent Fund sets aside a certain share of oil revenues to continue benefiting current and all future generations of Alaskans. Many citizens also believed that the legislature too quickly and too inefficiently spent the $900 million bonus the state got in 1969 after leasing out the oil fields. This belief spurred a desire to put some oil revenues out of direct political control.
The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation manages the assets of both the Permanent Fund and other state investments, but spending Fund income is up to the Legislature. The Corporation is to manage for maximum prudent return, and not--as some Alaskans at first wanted--as a development bank for in-state projects. The Fund grew from an initial investment of $734,000 in 1977 to the current sum of approximately forty billion dollars as of July 13, 2007. Some growth was due to good management, some to inflationary re-investment, and some via legislative decisions to deposit extra income during boom years. Each year, the fund's realized earnings are split between inflation-proofing, operating expenses, and the annual Permanent Fund Dividend.

“That's right. Sarah Palin taxes oil companies, because she believes the oil industry belongs to "the people", and gives every taxpayer a big fat check they didn't earn.”
Wrong again, moron. The State of Alaska taxes the oil companies extracting oil from Alaska because that resource is a property of the state – in other words, simpleton, the people of the state own the oil. The oil companies belong to the shareholders. The oil companies pay the state for the right to extract the oil. Any profit gained from the sale of the oil so extracted is shared among the shareholders.
I realize that basic concepts of capitalism are difficult to understand by one so steeped in Marxist theology but make the supreme effort to try and learn.

"Seven years later, I guess he has seen how the tax cuts have increased revenues and now favors them. So what?"
Huh? Tax receipts dropped and didn't get back to the level of Clinton's last year in office until 2005.
You can't define Middle Class solely on income. A family with six kids needs a lot more income to be middle class than a single person or childless couple.
But Bush tax policy has hurt the Middle Class no matter how you define it. Income for working families has been stagnant under Bush. But it's been great if you happen to be rich. Cause, just like McCain warned. there's been a huge "redistribution" of wealth from the Middle Class to the rich.
Posted by: Worst President Ever | Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 05:23 PM
But, of course, I pay more to the utilities to offset the fee they pay to the town.

“It is no different than my town charging the cable company, the phone company, and the gas company fees for putting their cables and lines through the town.”
Actually, it is, Lala. Your town and mine and, as far as I know all the rest, charge these companies not because they are providing any goods or services to them but simply because they can get away with it.
Politicians will tax anything that moves, stands still, wiggles, breathes, or is inanimate as long as they think they can. Imagine eliminating local taxes on gas, telephone, cable, etc. More people would be encouraged to do business there and more people would want to move there. Thus, more taxes would be collected overall.
Posted by: Philip McDaniel | Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 05:40 PM

Fred,
You are so right. $250,000 in New York City is not really a lot of money. Everything is expensive, especially rent, plus there is a New York City income tax and a New York State income tax. I think electricity is the highest in the country and it's going higher. Cigarettes are 9 dollars a pack, a beer in a bar is probably 5 dollars, a mixed-drink is close to 10. A visit to the dentist for a filling runs to about $450.00.
