While not a big fan, the career of Senator Trent Lott was ended because he had the audacity to praise an aging Strom Thurmond at a retirement dinner. The career of Senator George Allen was ended because he uttered one word, macaca - and is rumored to have had a Confederate Flag in his room at college.
Yet, as the edited video below makes clear, the same ideology that demanded those results have nominated a man who praised and embraced a vile racist for twenty years because it worked to his political advantage back in Chicago. Barack Obama knew precisely what was going on in his church and others within Chicago's black community. He's praised such churches for their ability to "fire people up" in the past.
McCain can't point it out, as he hopes to be able to govern this mess when this election is over. But if equality means living by a double standard, there will never be such a thing as equality at all. Given the rules of the road we live under, as dictated by the Left, not the Right, only the intellectually dishonest or the morally corrupt can make the case that Barack Obama is entitled to any kind of political career at all - let alone that he's fit to serve as President of the United States.

Excellent! It needs to be said and emphasized.

If Obama wins, get used to hypocrisy and double-standards for 2 years. That's how long it will take for Americans to get fed up with this crap. As for the 10%s like chris, who cares what they think?

Outstanding job Dan. Your frame is perfect: when is racism okay? And the glaringly obvious answer is: when you're a black, media darling running for president.
This is perfect timing with Obama's Race Bomb having just been dropped. And you are also correct that McCain is hemmed in on the subject if he hopes to govern the agitated population. We have to do this. So I will do my part in circulating your video. Thx. Al says Hi too.

To discriminate against a human being based on "race" is NEVER okay.
Many Blacks define racism as "racial inequality exacted by the dominant culture".
They portend that Blacks are NOT the "dominant culture", so racial bias against whites is fair game!
IT IS NOT. RACISM IS WRONG, WHETHER IT IS WHITES AGAINST BLACKS, OR BLACKS AGAINST WHITES!

Harry Reid seems to think that not wanting to pay for your neighbors mortgage, while he washes his Cadillac in the driveway, is Racist as well.
Someone should print a handbook. I can't keep up.

You whiteys seem to think that everything just started today. If that was so, then African Americans could be racist, but we have years of racism to be made up for. You white folks cheated us out of our birthright by kipnapping us, enslaving us, and using us to make you rich. Nothings going to be settled until we get our 40 acres and a mule, which should be around $500,000 cash each, or that's the way I see it. And Obama's going to see that we get our money. And you white folks are going to like it.

Watch out chris and boob and spartan 112. The stock market is rising. That may soon mean Obama is fading. 3 weeks to go. Lots of time for the economy to recover. That is bad bad news for Obamkins. Guess you will have to get over it and learn to live with it. McCain rising in the polls as the stock markets rise again. The worse racists are black racists.

The Rev. Wright is certainly wrong. However, as many times as I have seen this clip, I have never seen Trinity UCC or the Rev. Wright addressed by impartial people as to how often this type of diatribe and under what context it occurred. Was this a usual theme of Sunday services or delivered on some other occasion? I find it appalling nonetheless, but I would very much like to learn the circumstances and the usual type of service at this UCC. Good job on the video, Dan.

Obama camp responds to todays strong economic news
HEADLINES Stocks rallied worldwide, with the Standard & Poor's 500 Index rebounding from its worst week since 1933, and oil climbed from a 13-month low after governments in Europe, the U.S. and Asia agreed to support banks.
A spokesmen for Obama said "this is more proof of McCain/Palin encouraging racism. For the market to ralleye and ruin the gloom and doom message of the chosen one is pure racism"
Andrea "Yeast Infection" Mitchell, also reported on MSobamaNBC that the market is reactintg with a very "racial tone" with this dramatic turnaround and good newa.

I think every racist bastard who had any part in this racist "rebound" should be hung, JustOneMan. George Soros had better pour more of his negative mojo into the market, even though he can't go to France if McCain wins like all the other nutroots can. Or at least threaten to. I suppose he can go to Canada, or Stamford(haha), if that fails.

ya'll are pretty scared aren't you? Scared of what you think of as your superiority coming to an end? It's funny that in the comments of a post "detailing" Obama's "racism", ya'll have engaged in some of the most blatant racism I've seen in a minute. You can feel powerful sitting behind a computer screen, where you can say whatever you want without your victim ever knowing who it was. But someone else is watching. I wish ya'll had the courage to say what you're saying in public, but I know that's why you said it here - you all are a bunch of scared people clinging frantically to a failing ideology.

"--- You white folks cheated us out of our birthright by kipnapping (sic) us, enslaving us, and using us to make you rich. ---"
Tell that to your fellow Africans: your distant ancestors were captured by ... wait for it ...
... other BLACK Africans long before they were sold off to Arabs, Spaniards, Portuguese, and the occasional British transporters. And even more embarrassing is that some tribes in the interior of sub-saharan Africa deliberately sold their own family and tribe members into the hands of coastal African slavers.
The whites were simply at the far and of the supply chain. Blacks were enslaving each other long before Europe entered the picture; the Arabs had been buying African slaves from the blacks willing to sell one another off since the days of the Roman Empire.
You want reparations? Show us that you've made good cause to collect first from your African brothers who sold your ancestors off for a pittance, and also from the Arabs, before you come trying to raid our wallets for something most of us had nothing to do with.
Sorry, but I feel no sympathy for some of you yahoos who demand reparations. While your great-great-grandpappy was "slaving away for Massa", my great-great-grandpappy was farming hogs and digging up potatoes in order to literally scratch out an existence on the Northern German plains with Napoleon and his minions tearing up all creation around him.
So here's a wooden nickel, go spend on someone who actually cares.

"--- I hope you don't talk like this while... ---"
I have no problem correcting folks who spew their hogwash trying to guilt me about the White Man's debt to the Negro. As I said, neither I nor most my ancestors had anything to do with acquisition of slaves, the transport of slaves, or the sustenance of the slaving industry in the Americas: most of my kin were in Europe and of insufficient station to own a human life. And being the likely Lutherans they were, they would probably not even entertain the idea of slavery even if they could have afforded it.
Nearly twenty years ago, I told a Negro airman who probably could have easily outfought me and was himself something of a disciple of Farrakhan spewing his vile propaganda the same thing I mentioned above: that I have neither a personal apology nor a sense of debt on some some tragic events over 150 years ago.
"--- ...semi-ghetto of Peekskill ---"
I don't live there, sorry to break your bubble. It is a nice town though, conveniently on the Hudson Line into NYC.
And while it does have a significant minority population (25% Black, 22% Latino, 48% White, 5% other) ... but that's par for the course for nearly any major coastal city.
That said, Peekskill - a Democrat stronghold, it is actually trending upward for the GOP, as the candidate for Congress, Kieran Lalor ( http://www.kml2008.com ) stands likely to replace that irresponsible Soros-funded musician (John Hall of "Orleans" fame) who should have stuck with what he was (marginally) good at...
And it is ranked highly as a "walkable city", with lots of NYC yuppie types making it their home. Moreover, housing values there have not been adversely affected (relative to the rest of the nation) with only a loss of value around 10-12% from the 2006 peak, with the median price of a 1500-s.f. house currently in the 300-400k range. Taxes are a bit of a bite-fest though.

Posted by: templar knight | Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 02:09 PM
I wont pretend like the stereotypical rhetoric submitted above by justoneman (obviously not a man who loathes stereotypes or has any manner typical of a true conservative who for the most part thinks before he speaks) didn't hurt. at least the user by the name of seekeronos stated facts instead of stereotypes. With that being said I am a conservative who happens to be of African decent that doesn't believe that the so called racism problem in America exist on the same scale that the liberals and far left black groups would like members of my race to believe if . but you still have those like justoneguy out there who seem more than happy to fan the flames of antagonistic characteristics. But as to not walk in to his trap a state that he is a..."wait" racist ill press on with my statement and just chalk his thoughts up to ignorance. I look at my people and am terribly sadden by the fact that we could be so mislead in our thoughts about how the world and America owes us a debt. This I don't believe! I believe that just being a part of a country as great as America is the best gift that any one can ask for. I been to other countries like Iraq, and others in the middle east and seen how poorly people in those places live, and I have been proud to be on the side fighting to bring these people better lives. But I get home and see that the Jim crow laws are still alive and well.. not in our countries legislature of course but in the minds of the black sector of the American race. we have for the most part mentally segregated ourselves from all the good that this country has to offer, every thing that the fathers of whites, black, native, and countless other died to make available for us to take advantage of. i do believe that this is all due to the indoctrination of liberal ideals into the minds of blacks. ideals that say that we need reparations, we need Affirmative Action, we need a welfare state,we need help and cant do it alone. all of these of course are completely wrong and directed and keeping blacks down and unable to fend for themselves. I have said it time after time again I have never met anyone as racist as a far left democrat(or any democrat for that reason). I can only pray that other black people can come the realization that I have, and that is any party that want to make us there pet on election day is not the party that we need to support. any party that claims racism before we utter a word is not the party we need. any party that thinks that they can relate to us by playing a saxophone and smoking weed is not the party that is support. I support that party that freed my people from slavery. I support the party of Clarence Thomas, Fredrick Douglas, Colon Powell and the greatest of all conservative Ronald Reagan. AND JUST FOR THE RECORD I STILL LOVE FRIED, CHICKEN, GRAPE POP, AND SOUL TRAIN....HAHAHA.. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Nice to hear Fredric Douglas' name come up, by the way.
Posted by: Philip McDaniel | Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 05:42 PM
I am not sure where Mr. Thomas grew up, but it is obvious to me that he still does not get it. I am a 58 year old Black man. I have witnessed or been a part of countless forms of discrimination in my lifetime. Yes, it is true that America is the greatest country in the world, and I would never want live any place but here. At the same time, eventhough we have moved forward some, as a country, and have made numerous changes in our laws to assure all ethnic groups some equality, racism still exists on a major level here. To read Mr. Thomas' comments one would think that things are just fine, the problems are just in the MINDS of African Americans.
I am a college graduate, and no I don't feel that White Americans owe me anything for the oppression of Slavery over 400 years ago, or for any Black person having to live as a Second Class citizen in this country. These things are FACTS. It always bother me when I hear White and Black Conservatives make statements that the African American vote is a shoe-in for the Democratic Party. That really is an insult to Black folks intelligence. What is not understood here is that Republicans on a major level have never hid the fact that they have not had Afircan American interests or issues in mind. At least some Democrats have made some attempts throughout, hence they garner the majority of African American votes.
Mr. Thomas you should wake up and see what's happening around you. You my friend have the right to your opinion, and I respect that. But you need look no further than this years Presidential campaign to see the indirect and subliminal racism your Conservative/Republican group is displaying. I really don't fault THEM, becuse what they do is probably done subconsciously. I don't think THEY understand their own racist acts and statements sometime. I have witnessed many Presidential campaigns in my lifetime, and never have I seen such attacks on ANY Presidential candidates character or associations as I have seen pointed at Senator Barak Obama. Maybe that is a coincidence, but I don't think so.
Posted by: H. Lynch | Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 04:06 PM
Mr. Lynch you can possible tell me that I or you aren't on the same playing field with any other white, Asian, or Hispanic person in this country and to say that we are is a complete cop out. you stated yourself that you are college educated...just like many other people in this country of different races. Sir you received the same educational opportunities as all of your class mates... the only difference being how far you were willing to take the opportunity and how much you personally wanted out of it(AND YOU SAY I DON'T GET IT? HA!) ...I respect the fact that you suffered through oppression for black people, but after 48 years you should stop beating that dead horse (that was then this is now).I am 27 year old raised in southern Illinois. I was part of the typical poor, underclass, welfare, without a father family. after all that I can still logically place blame on key people in my life not just one group of people. It was a father who left my mom and my siblings for drugs,it was our family that would rather plan a card parties and a fish fry's rather that watch my moms kid so she could earn a living , it was black men from your generation (not you personally) who instead of being gentlemen decided to personify pimps.WHITES DONT HAVE TO LIFT A FINGER TO HURT US... WE DO THE JOB JUST FINE ON OUR OWN. the break down of the black sector of the American race started during your generation and continues on into mine leaving the funk era and trading it for hip hop. every day young black kid watch as they are indoctrinated by this feeble minded music genre that portrays the adults in their race to be drug dealers, gang members, ex cons, and whores. A our children grow thinking this is reality! This is how I must be to make it. And there is few (if any) responsible adults (black men) in the lives of the kids to give rebuttal to these ideas. If you ask me why its because we are spending to much time feeling sorry for ourselves (for some thing that didn't happen to us personally) and blaming all our woes on the white man. It is no one'S problem but our own! we make our on choices and we suffer the consequences for the choice whether good or bad. you cant blame someone else for every thing that is going wrong in your life. all you need to do to find the true culprit is look in the mirror. I don't mean to sound so angry at black people. I am black AND I love my people but I get so vexed when I hear any one not stand up and take personal responsibility for their actions. And that is what we as Black "MEN" need to do...P.S. DOWN WITH B.E.T., HIP HOP IS THE TRUE ENEMY OF BLACK PEOPLE (and all other people for that matter), DOWN WITH POVERTY PIMPS WHO MAKE MONEY BY KEEPING THEIR OWN RACE POOR MAD AND BROKE...AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST AMERICA HAS GIVEN BIRTH TO A NEW RACE , ANEW BREED AND ANYONE WHO WOULD SEPARATE THEMSELVES FROM OUR FLAG IN TREASON SHOULD SUFFER THE MAXIMUM PUNISHMENT! HAIL TO THE REPUBLIC....i am Charles Thomas and i approve this message. PS2 Thanks Mr. McDaniel for your kind comment.

"What is not understood here is that Republicans on a major level have never hid the fact that they have not had Afircan American interests or issues in mind."
Quite right, H Lynch. They and conservatives like myself have the interests of "people" in mind - black, brown, white, yellow. People who love freedom and are willing to take responsibility for themselves in the here and now, where it matters. My apologies if we don't make you feel "special" enough. Frankly, in our eyes, you are not, we are not, no one is. We are all equal in God's and the government's eyes. And if someone does harbor racism in their heart, well that is their shame. But still not the role of government to decide.
You apparently feel differently somehow. Let me know when the government and democrats get around to helping you. From everything I have observed - growing up in a very racially mixed city - Trenton - just as with people of all colors, the ones who didn't wait for government to somehow make their lives right are the same ones who end up getting what they want in life and feeling as though they deserve it.
As I said, when the Dems, the government, or the vile likes of Wright get around to making your life whatevber it is you think it should be that you are incapable of making it yourself. Let me know. You'll forgtive me if I don't hold my breath.

"You whiteys seem to think that everything just started today."
MagicRacist You think everything started when you were born, fortunately for you, you were not among the millions of blacks aborted by your Democrat leaders (including B.O.) who worship at the alter of abortion.
Why don't you demand reparations from planned parenthood? after all they have succeeded in killing at least 5 million of the black people who would have been here in the last 30 years but they went in a dumpster behind the abortion clinics instead, then they replaced them with immigrant hispanics to keep the votes coming in.
The real title of this should have been "When is Communism ok?" because B.O. is a communist, since communists say they want to "spread the wealth around" meaning take from the working and give to the lazy.
Just say no to B.H.O!
