What's Going On Here?

Understandably, some folks are making a fuss about another Obama youth video from a school in Kansas City - a charter school, I believe. As disturbing as that might be, there are other serious questions at play here.

I looked up the ratings for this school with the para-military Obama video. No surprises unfortunately - relative to the district, it's been failing since it began years ago. I guess if you worship Obama there are no church/state/political issues either?? It's the Religion of "O." And I thought Oprah had that copyright.

That school receives tax dollars, I believe. And it seems to be an utter failure. See here and here. It looks as though it's been a sub-standard performer relative to the surrounding district since its inception years ago.

Is this school making adequate yearly progress (AYP)? ? No
AYP Consequence/Improvement Status ? School Improvement Level 3 - Corrective Action Year 1

How about marching them over to a chair so they can sit down and begin to learn something of real value for Heaven's sake?

Asking an NEA controlled school to teach from a real book is like a condemned man asking for a new pair of Nike's and some fresh air outside the walls. It ain't gonna happen. 99% of the schools controlled by members of the NEA are failures and a waste of tax dollars. That's why they fight school choice, no one would actually choose to attend or send their children to a known failed school if there was a choice. Home schooling or private school is a childs only chance at a normal life.

The rest of this is vaguely reminiscent of the Farrakhan Elite Guard (I forget what they call themselves nowadays) or the Black Panthers.

A real bunch of tubby revolutionaries, who will be at the forefront of bringing whites who resist the "Magnificent Leader"... if they don't keel over from high blood pressure or a stroke first.

I am very pissed off at the comments made by people who claim to be smart. Here's a little AYP for yo ass! (Ain't Yall Pathetic). If you want to shake up the world, Help yourself! Leave these kids alone. They have a hard enough time making AYP without a fool like you trying to bring them down. Everybody's got an opinion, but nobody has time to get their hands dirty. I applaud the teachers and staff. You guys have become masters of taking nothing and turning it into something.
