All of these middle-class idiots are going to vote for Obama without even knowing what he has in store for them. I imagine they'll be thrilled when he calls in a bunch of Left-wing activists to help him "shape" his agenda as President.
Fools.

Not one of the many people in that hall draws a salary from a value creating organization, a company. None of them add value to anything or create anything. They are all parasites on society, subsisting on donations, government grants and endowment alotments. They should be ashamed of themselves. Instead they revel in their victimhood and theivery.
This is what America is coming to. I mourn for America.

They are "entitled" because the Dems have been pandering to them since LBJ's Great Society.
Look for more of these worthless types to thrive if Obama is elected. Look for a very sympathetic Congress to throw them more of Your Tax Dollars and 12% of the population will rule over the rest
of America until resentment reaches a boiling point. Then anything is possible. Entitlements, handouts and earmarks for these types will tank what is left of the economy.
No criminal presecutions for their enablers in Congress, ACORN for Voter Fraud or Wall Street gamblers or Fannie & Freddie crooks yet. Don't hold your breath. The most Ethical Congress Ever!
The pendulum will swng the other way and it will not be pretty when the Taxpayer has had enough.

"Kemp: “The United States is now, in some very general sense, bankrupt”
Here is a radical proposal from John Kemp, the former Sempra Metals economist, who seems to have had enough “resting” between jobs. His provocative ideas would appear to apply to the UK as well as the US.
Before you click “more” be aware that this is a 2,000 word read…
First take a deep breath, and recall President Franklin Roosevelt’s wise advice that there is nothing to fear but fear itself.
Then let’s admit something painful: The United States is bankrupt, in the sense that it’s assets (housing stock, corporations and cash flow, plant and machinery) are now worth much less than its liabilities (in the form of mortgage-backed securities, other debt and loan instruments). In particular, large parts of the housing stock are now worth much less than the owners paid for them, and less than the outstanding value of the mortgages, or the collateralised bonds that have been issued against them"

No country, no matter how strong it is... can stand for very long when it allows these things three:
(1) unfettered immorality - homosexuality (sodomy) and adultery (includes most no-fault divorces) and the glorification of loveless and unmarried sex and the enslavement of our youth to sexual depravity (Leviticus 18:23, Romans 1:18-32, Hebrews 13:4)
(2) state sanctioned infanticide/abortion (killing off your young does horrors for your population replacement rate -- Leviticus 18:21)
(3) endemic and persistent bankruptcy via "borrowing against the future" -- buying stuff now on credit without a hope of paying for it. See also "massive entitlements and welfare programmes" and "irresponsible consumer credit".
"----- The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. -----" (Proverbs 22:7, KJV)

Me too, Ralph... me too. America may truly and finally be finished as a world power, where "free market capitalism" suffers the same fate as Soviet style communism did nearly 20 years ago -- which would be a landmark victory for the perceived "middle ground" between the two poles -- democratic socialism.
The hallmark democratic socialism of France and Germany, and to a lesser extent, Japan and Canada.
I find myself at last beginning to consider the possibility of evacuating my family for the next decade or so, to a country more amenable to our views on liberty and freedom... Alaska, if it secedes, would be one particularly nice option.
There is also Chile or Argentina... both of those countries are on the rise. And Japan is certainly on the table on account of my wife's citizenship there.
It is a sad day when the US promises to drift into a socialism so deep that it makes Japan (itself a largely social-democracy not unlike the Scandinavian Bloc) look like a free-market heaven by comparison.
