Add to that more than a dash of socialism removing even more incentive for any under-class to perform, or simply an election nightmare like Florida circa 2000 this year and I guess you get that America the rest of the world seems to want so badly.

Police departments in cities across the country are beefing up their ranks for Election Day, preparing for possible civil unrest and riots after the historic presidential contest.

Public safety officials said in interviews with The Hill that the election, which will end with either the nation’s first black president or its first female vice president, demanded a stronger police presence.

Yes, I can well imagine the roaming herds of soccer moms ravaging the 'burbs overturning Ford mini-vans as they go.

Yeah, Dan, all those conservatives who have been rioting and looting these 50 years demand a police presense. Most likely the police want to be ready just in case anybody wants to defend themselves if attacked by wacked-out liberals. Wouldn't want the right to self defense to spoil all the fun. Looting and burning will become the new "thing to do". The Death of the Republic should be quite a spectacle, as these things only happen infrequently in human history.

Ironically that 57 number comes up when chuckie says he would settle for 57 since he is sure that they can get the three votes to cross the aisle.
