Don't look for this to make news. Add it together with some of the folks they are busing in and one gets a sense of change, somehow. Don't you think? Who cares if people have no idea what actual issues are at stake. Democrats love poorly informed voters in need!
Muslim Americans for Obama will be working to get out the vote for Sen. Obama, and they need help registering voters! Volunteers need not be Muslim, though appropriate attire is advised (no sleeveless tops; long pants and ankle-length skirts recommended).

Xerxes, the choice of the stoned, unemployed and homeless!
Only in America could you drive around and pick up strangers and have them register and vote on the spot.
Hey instead of sitting around the park getting high today lets go for a car ride to vote. They said they would drive us anywhere we want after we vote for Xerxes. Time to make a beer run anyway!

NICE!
The brotha is gonna vote for Obama, so he can do his THUG-BIZZLE.
Wow. THUG-BIZZLE.
Now if there was ever a reason to vote for Der Fuehrer auf den Hoffnung (the Leader of Hope)... I just don't k ow what is. (/snark)
Posted by: seekeronos | Wednesday, October 01, 2008 at 01:47 PM
Say, what do you mean? Is this some kind of racist conservative code? "Der Fuehrer auf den Hoffnung" No? Then how do you explain this atrocity, huh? 5000 bodies should be pretty easy to find. Justice will be done if this wonderful woman has anything to say (and she always does) about it.

Via PowerLine and Bruce: Meanwhile our Senators are hard at work saving the wildly reckless, with a little lard as is customary:
"New Tax earmarks in Bailout bill
- Film and Television Productions (Sec. 502)
- Wooden Arrows designed for use by children (Sec. 503)
- 6 page package of earmarks for litigants in the 1989 Exxon Valdez incident, Alaska (Sec. 504)
Tax earmark “extenders” in the bailout bill.
- Virgin Island and Puerto Rican Rum (Section 308)
- American Samoa (Sec. 309)
- Mine Rescue Teams (Sec. 310)
- Mine Safety Equipment (Sec. 311)
- Domestic Production Activities in Puerto Rico (Sec. 312)
- Indian Tribes (Sec. 314, 315)
- Railroads (Sec. 316)
- Auto Racing Tracks (317)
- District of Columbia (Sec. 322)
- Wool Research (Sec. 325)
Let’s see, 451-pages. What are the chances any clown in congress has actually read the thing? The vote begins tonight at 730p ET.

Yes, it must be a pain in the ass to organize voter-supporession tactics when you have to focus on many days instead of only 1. Black folks being permitted to vote absolutely scares the shit out of wingers.

Well, well. A 2 week sojurn and this is what I return to. It appears that the friends of teh trooops and the highly educated and WELL READ Sarah Palin are directing much anger toward their fellow black CITIZENS. I would remind you children of JESUS that being born black or coming to America as an immigrant IS a disadvantage. Your scorn should be reserved for the degenerate rednecks that litter America. Remember patriots, there is no bigger mark of failure than being born white in America and living in a trailer like a dog. None. End of story.
Semper Fi. May Bill O'Reilly's soiled loofah bless you all.

Why do you guys have a problem with the homeless voting? Is it because you know who they'll vote for? I'm sure you wouldn't have the same problem with evangelicals registering trailer trash to vote.

I read the links but I still don't understand the emphasis on the "no sleeveless tops; long pants and ankle-length skirts recommended". Dan, can you elabrate on this?

I think with John McCain's yes, he may have just lost my vote. Won't vote for the communist so I guess I won't be voting in the presidential election.

Democracy Alliance memo details Dem plan to "educate the idiots" and target minorities
Filed Under: Colorado Elections
Topics: AFL-CIO, Andrew Romanoff, Bell Policy Center, Bill Ritter, campaign finance, Colorado Democracy Alliance, Democracy Alliance, Dominic DelPapa, Evan Dreyer, Joan Fitz-Gerald

Face The State Staff Report
In a confidential internal memorandum obtained by Face The State (PDF), the Colorado Democracy Alliance outlines a roster of "operatives" who worked for Democratic victory in the 2006 general election. The document outlines specific tasks for various members of the state's liberal infrastructure, including a campaign to "educate the idiots," assigned to the state's AFL-CIO union. Among the operation's intended targets: "minorities, GED's, drop-outs."
Individuals named in the document, marked "CONFIDENTIAL," "for internal use only," and "DO NOT DISTRIBUTE," are high-level elected Democrats including House Speaker Andrew Romanoff, former Senate President Joan Fitz-Gerald, as well as Gov. Bill Ritter's press aide and former campaign chief Evan Dreyer. All are specially marked as "off-the-record or covert."

Moldy - they are asking volunteers to ascribe to strict Muslim dress - that's what I meant by un-American, not the homeless people voting. Poorly informed voters are run of the mill in the US today.

Mary:
If you live in a state where the Constitution Party candidate, Chuck Baldwin, is either on the ballot or permitted to be written in (write-in) you can rest easy voting for a man who has been endorsed by Dr. Ron Paul - a true Constitutionalist, small-government, fiscally responsible paleo-conservative.
Here is the list of states Dr. Baldwin is on the ballot:
http://constitutionparty.org/ba_stats.php
I think Dr. Baldwin is on the ballot in 41 states, and as a write in candidate in a decent handful more.

Homeless folks - and specifically, "career homeless", that is, not just folks temporarily down on their luck, but rather, people who simply live outside the system like Mr. THUG-BIZZLE probably have no grasp of the Constitution, or our political system.
They will vote for the guy who promises to keep giving them bread and circuses... and that the guy is Obama.
But Bob has a great idea: maybe we ought to start a grass-roots effort to hot the trailer parks and tractor pulls for McCain.

seekeronos, after his speech about preventing pork, the hypocrite stands up there and votes yes? I wondered what they have on him for him to cave like that. I will look into your candidate. Tonight, I am disgusted. And the markets don't seem to like the vote.

So the slimy election tactics are un-American because volunteers are required to ascribe to a Muslim dress code? I don't see this point made in the post. Can someone explain.
Well then I do not understand your post then. Because you link to an article about the recruitment of homeless people

Squeek for yourself there Spart.
*hit, not "hot".
LOL. I was trying to picture it.

Spart does have a point, though -- and to expand upon it a bit, there is no constitutional requirement for voters to be informed, nor any prohibition against deliberately withholding information, or actively deceiving people.
This is the fatal flaw in the system.
Fortunately, there those who seek to shine the truth into the murky pits of misinformation.
And speaking of information, a look at RCP's third party polls shows this:
While no third party candidate shows any possibility of winning any electoral votes in their own right, they will be spoilers. And Nader - arguably a strong leftist - is easily double to triple Barr's polling numbers, which I find interesting given how far to the left Obama is.
I note the absence of McKinney and Dr. Baldwin, because the Greens (under McKinney) have a relatively well known (former Democrat) congresswoman heading up their ticket, and Baldwin has the support of a good number of Ron Paul supporters (given his endorsement of Dr. Baldwin).
The Georgia numbers should prove very interesting, with Barr and McKinney likely cancelling out the third party spoilage.

Hahaha. Moldy is trying to Katie Curic Dan. Too funny.
Incidentally, Agent 112, there is no constitutional "right to vote" in federal elections, as Neal Boortz and others have shown.
