Pushing the McCain as racist meme due to the nature of his current attacks on Obama via The New York Observer. Given that Obama spent 20 years at the side of an outrageous racist, years that would have immediately disqualified a white candidate were things reversed, is it really smart for Democrats to be screaming racism all the time? I mean, if we're going to have that discussion, seems to me it would be more than fair to begin with Jeremiah Wright.
Actually, the more I read of this nonsense particularly from black elected Dems, I'm almost looking forward to having it. And that's a shame. But what goes round comes round in politics, or so I hear.
As the McCain campaign ratchets up the intensity of its attacks on Barack Obama, some black elected officials are calling the tactics desperate, unseemly and racist.
“They are trying to throw out these codes,” said Representative Gregory Meeks, a Democrat from New York.
“He’s ‘not one of us?’” Mr. Meeks said, referring to a comment Sarah Palin made at a campaign rally on Oct. 6 in Florida. “That’s racial. That’s fear. They know they can’t win on the issues, so the last resort they have is race and fear.”

I'd say that about the difference between the Left Reverend Jeremiah Wright and David Duke is the colour of the sheets they wear...
... But don't you remember that according to the Democratic Party "Department for the Doctrine for Political Correctness™" that it is impossible for anyone to be racist, except for whites?
Not sure then, what that would make the hate-filled, demoniacally inspired rants of one Left Reverend Jeremiah Wright, but according to our equally hate-filled friends on the left... "he ain't a racist".
Fie on that. Barrack Hussein Obama will use up the black people as well as he will use the ignorant whites who elect him to achieve his goals. And if that means playing the full deck of race cards, then so be it.
Dig it over here...

Excerpt:
"--- A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination. (This does not deny the existence of such prejudices, hostilities, acts of rage or discrimination.) ---"

DC local govt. is the home of reverse racism.
Pelosi wants another stimulus package but not until AFTER the election. If it is so important why not do it now? Why? Because the Democrats must keep this economic crisis going full steam ahead until AFTER the election on Nov.4th.

Only the most highly dishonest person would say these attacks are racial in nature. Any white man can hate his country as much as Obama seems to have in his past. Bill Ayers is a very good example of a white man who hates his country. This is an ideological attack, not a racial attack.
Posted by: w3bgrrl | Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 09:02 AM
Why does this surprise anyone? Obama has played the race card every time things got hot. As soon as the Clinton's brought up the fact that he wasn't doing well with white voters, out it came. Same with Rev. Wright in the first go round. This is what liberals and American blacks do, whenever you criticize anything having to do with a black person it is racist. Black presidential candidate's spiritual mentor hates white people. Can't talk about it, racist. The real question is why McCain himself seems to have bought into this idiotic idea....Wright is a much more important and persuasive tool than Bill Ayers, but McCain won't use it.
If Obama turns out to be as bad as some think, John McCain is going to have only himself to blame for not pointing out his radical and racist ties.

In 2001 Obama denies self-defense right to those who are under a court order of protection and had his staff brag about it. It was an equal opportunity denial:
"BAMA HELPS DEFEAT CONCEALED-CARRY LEGISLATION
Entered by Obama Staff on 4/05/01 at 5:46 pm
SPRINGFIELD—State Senator Barack Obama (D-Chicago) today after extensive debate helped defeat a bill that would allow people who receive an order of protection to possess and carry a concealed firearm. Senate Bill 604 was defeated on a 29-27 vote.
“Although this bill supposedly only affected people who receive an order of protection, it would have opened the door to the adoption of laws permitting all persons to carry concealed firearms on the street or in their cars. Concealed-carry laws would only increase the problem of hand-gun violence and ultimately make the streets less safer everywhere,” Obama said Source: Obama News!"

So over 50% of Americans want to elect a guy to be President of the United States
who's whole career/campaign is intrinsically to ACORN, a voter fraud effort.
If not, why wouldn't OBAMA stand up and call for ACORN to monitor itself and play fair?
Why? Because OBAMA HIMSELF is part of that ACORN fraud machine.
LET ME WARN YOU! IF WE ELECT THIS CHARLETAN THEN WE CAN NOT ONLY EXPECT A REPEAT OF 9/11, WE DESERVE A 9/11!

"Say goodbye to your America."
Well you crazy wackos finally admit you are out to destroy the present America behind your leaders, the Dems? Are you sure that's the way Schumer, Frank, and Obama want it? After all, they have done well for themselves in the present America without ever working a day in their lives.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 12:14 PM
YOu're right, we're saying goodbye to one America. The America where you live with your own failures, take your own risks, make your own luck is morphing into socialist America where the government runs almost everything and the successful are penalized and the unsuccessful rewarded. We're saying goodbye to free speech America and ushering in a brave new world where anything can be deemed a code word for racist/hate and subsequently criminalized. Say goodbye to the America that punishes criminals and hello to the criminal as victim enshrined in law. Say goodbye to all that remains of the judeo-Christian philosophical and traditional underpinnings of our society. And finally, say goodbye to the meritocracy. In its place will be the hierarchy of victimhood.

Remember, Charlie Rangel said it was "racist" that people thought he should have to pay his taxes.
Kwame Kilpatrick, who Obama fully endorsed and supported, said the investigation against him was "racist", and berated a black female detective, saying that she should be "ashamed" to be investigating him and to be riding in a car with a white man.
William Jefferson claimed the investigation of him for bribery was "racist".
ACORN is claiming that investigating them for clear-cut cases of voter registration fraud is "racist".
And now Obama is shrieking that criticizing or questioning him is "racist".
Correction. THIS is racist:
"Convinced that all whites were born tainted with the original sin of “skin privilege,” the fighting brigade of the New Left internalized racialist thinking as hatred of their own whiteness. “All white babies are pigs,” declared one Weatherman. On one occasion the feminist poet Robin Morgan was breast-feeding her son at the offices of the radical journal Rat. A Weatherwoman saw this and told her, “You have no right to have that pig male baby.” “How can you say that?” Morgan asked. “What should I do?” “Put it in the garbage,” the Weatherwoman answered."

That's the belief that Bill Ayers produced, promoted, and pushed. Barack Obama gave Bill Ayers MILLIONS of dollars to teach this sick ideology of his to public school students. Michelle Obama endorsed and supported Bill Ayers's racist rhetoric in the name of "diversity".
Barack Obama and his supporters are the racists.

The next four to eight years (more likely four, given the size of the mess being left to your party) will be a payback of litanies against the hard left for all the BDS they have spouted in the past, as they take us down the path to international irrelevance and impoverishment.

"they take us down the path to international irrelevance and impoverishment."
So you're already blaming an Obama presidency for any and all economic failure? Will you then give him credit for an economic boom? Or will you just call it the Bush Boom?
At least TRY not to be so transparent.
Posted by: jaime | Thursday, October 09, 2008 at 01:55 PM
Obama will not be able to create an economic boom. Sure, his party created the economic crisis but they don't know what they are doing and the boom IMHO won't come.

"Sure, his party created the economic crisis"
You may want to go back and check the financial numbers when Clinton left office and Bush came in. Clinton left behind a budget that had a surplus, a strong dollar, low unemployment. Fiscal Conservative Bush then took over and promptly blew the budget out of the water. He's spent more money we don't have faster than any president ever.

"Paulson has quickly distinguished himself from his two predecessors in the Bush administration by formally identifying the wide gap between the richest and poorest Americans as an issue on his list of the country's four major long-term economic issues to be addressed, highlighting the issue in one of his first public appearances as Secretary of Treasury.[15]"
"His net worth has been estimated at over US$700 million.[9] Paulson has personally built close relations with China during his career. In July 2008 it was reported by The Daily Telegraph that: "Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson has intimate relations with the Chinese elite, dating from his days at Goldman Sachs when he visited the country more than 70 times."[10]"

Worst President Ever, there is plenty of culpability to go around. When Clinton was president he taxed the upper middle class to death. I know people still paying taxes from those years on a payment plan with the IRS. Had Bush not come in and changed their tax bite they would have been peddling against a hurricane.
Clinton left plenty of hidden black holes and they were found after he left office and used beautifully by many for their own benefit.

Harry Reid keeps up the left wing rant of racism...on a radio interview today when the host asked about Obama's affiliation with Fannie and Freddie executives Reid replied ---
"[Franklin] Raines, who you're talking about, worked for Fannie Mae, was there for a while. The only connection that people could bring up about Raines and Barack Obama is that they both are African-American, other than that there is nothing."

Taxed to death? Hardly. Someone making $175,000 a year paid around $3,000 annually or $350 a month more under Clinton than Bush. The marginal tax rates under Eisenhower were much, much higher.

No, $3000 annually NOT monthly for someone making 125,000 annually.

It means under Eisenhower our tax rates on the Rich were much, much higher while the Middle Class paid lower taxes. The country didn't collapse and the rich didn't flee. The highest tax bracket at the time was in the 90+%. In fact, the 50's are considered by many the US's strongest economic decade. AH, the Good Old Days.

Greta is interviewing the Secretary of the State in Ohio and she is claiming her office has received no allegations of voter fraud. She claims she is a lawyer, a former judge ergo an officer of the court. Yet a Federal judge issued a temporary restraining order against her.
Great gave her two or three instances of alleged voter fraud. Now she is parsing her words very well claiming that she has "no specific incidences reported to her office.". Yet she said her office is being inundated with calls alleging voter fraud. She is a democrat. So I guess just a call from a regular person saying they are reporting voter fraud, the tens of thousands of calls her office is getting, doesn't satisfy her definition of a report?
