The O-Body Count Grows
Bill Clinton went from being thought of as the first black President to actually being accused of racism. Among others, McCain has now faced that charge, as well.
Stanley Kurtz and David Fredossa went from being serious journalists and solid researchers to being portrayed as perpetrators of hate and loathsome smear merchants.
Sarah Palin, no matter what you may think of her, went from being the nation's most popular governor to being thought of as a mindless boob now parenting a fifth child they won't even accept as her own.
Now, via Michelle, the NY Times felt compelled to weigh in on a would be plumber. It's truly sickening to see that just about every on line MSM news site is reveling in taking that man down. Just scroll.
Meanwhile, Obama's treasurer - with his own tax liens, it seems - Bill Ayres, Franklin Raines, Jeremiah Wright, James Johnson - Obama himself and others ... are all just fine ethical, upstanding Americans undeserving of any real scrutiny, I guess.
The people above were taken down by Obama supporters in and out of the MSM, his actual campaign, or some combination thereof.
The O-body count is growing and the Left and Obama haven't really even achieved any power of the executive kind so far. Everyone who has gotten in the way of Obama's path to power has been horribly run down. It's also obvious that they would happily destroy them if they could.
If you needed one single reason to vigorously oppose Obama and energetically support McCain, this might be it.
According to this I'm not alone in thinking that.
And yet, for that Joe is being pilloried, every aspect of his private and professional life being sorted through and exposed. To prove ... what? What does that have to do with Obama's answer? What does Joe's situation have to do with Obama's philosophical answer — that he wants to "spread the wealth"? Obama's answer goes down the memory hole while the nation concentrates its fire on obliterating Joe the Plumber.
It's sickening, it's maddening and it's downright chilling.
Sorry for the length. But I am just SEETHING.
And if all that isn't enough - how about simply giving the Netroots and Keith Olbermann a truly, truly horrible day.

To review; Sarah Palin is an unqualified hack who, if she didn't want to be scrutinized, should have stayed in western Canada. The heroic Joe (whose name isn't Joe) the plumber (who isn't even a qualified plumber) got used by the sad little old man as a prop for his failed candidacy. Sorry 'Joe'.
As an aside, if the McSame campaign was at all professional they would have vetted this Cliff Klabenesque "plumber". It took the media only until lunchtime yesterday to expose this blowhard as a joker who really should have paid the taxes that he already owes before he starts making up silly hypothetical tax scenarios.

Why the need to expose an average Joe? I'd say all you hard working blue collar average Joes out there, you might want to re-think your vote for Obama. Yesterday, Obama made fun of plumbers..."Is that who he (McCain) is fighting for...a Plumber"?
Yes Senator Government, a REAL worker, who might have back taxes, who might have problems paying off debt, just like everyone else...your average Joe.
Posted by: littlemissunshine | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 08:07 AM
Bobin, what says Joe's not a "qualified" plumber? By whose standard? AFAIK, he works for a licensed plumbing company.
Lots of trades have a license for the company, but the employees don't have their own license. You only get your own license if you're going out on your own.
Oh the shame of it all: Joe works with someone else, and he is NOT a union guy.
Sorry, there's a lot of folks out there who see these smears for what they are: whiny attempts to tear down a normal American small business guy, who works hard to make a living, producing real value for real people.
Something too many libs don't understand.

Be warned, those of you who do honest and productive labor and are ambitious, if a liberal candidate picks you out of a crowd and asks you if you have a question, just say no. If you ask a question such as one the big media should be asking but don't, all the Boobs in Bridgeport, all the harpos in Indiana, all the kooks in Kosville, all the puffies in Huffland, all the pointy heads at Talking Points Memo will come after you.

I cannot believe all the Useful Idiots who have missed the point entirely => Barack Obama wants to impose a socialist government on this great America!!!! DUH! and been distracted - just as the ObamaFrauds wanted. Wake up, idiots! This has NOTHING to do with Joe Anybody! It has to do with you! Your right to question this ColossalFraud is NOT ALLOWED!!! The new law of the land, under Barack Obama: Just shut up and do as I say. Are you ready for that? Then go ahead vote for the creep. But don't say you didn't know who he was, once the real fun starts, because this JoeThing pretty well exposes what he's all about.

Alright. FALL IN. Pull the peak of that cap down, harpo, this ain't no baseball game. Stamford, pull in that gut. Don't eyeball me, Ever. Don't ever cast those peepers on me unless I'm right in your face, got it?
DRESS RIGHT...DRESS. Common common, hurry it up.
READY...FRONT. Now I'm gonna only say this once. If I don't hear you loud and clear the first time were gonna do a quick five miles after chow, so you better sound off.
Now we are gonna say a thank you to the President of the United States. Do you know why?
Because you troopers have blamed him for the rise in oil and gas prices. If he is to blame for that then he should get the credit for the price fall. Let's hear it.
THANK YOU MR PRESIDENT.

Anyone watching Megyn Kelly on Fox? She has Wolfson and Huckabee and she just lit into Wolfson for making a remark that Joe's name is not Joe. I think I heard Huckabee say that he's going to have Joe on a show later.

Ahhh, the old wingnut strategy: when we're dead f!cking wrong, just blame the media and bring up flavor of the month scandal/Ayers. Where Obama is concerned, the plan is appended with racism by instigating that Wright needs to be brought up for the umpteenth time, too.
You guys are too f!cking predictable.

Maybe the Boob can help us find out what his esteemed Senator is hiding -
http://jammiewearingfool.blogspot.com/2008/10/who-wont-chris-dodd-release-his-records.html
Friday, October 17, 2008
Why Won't Chris Dodd Release His Records?
Simple. He's got something to hide. Even the folks in his home state want to know the truth.
Wednesday, after a Hartford speech, Mr. Dodd was asked again whether he would release the loan documents. "Not right now, no," he replied. An aide later said that "he intends to do that, [but] not at this time."
Posted by: Lala | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 09:54 AM
What is a self-contradictory statement?
Oh, here is one:"...just blame the media and bring up flavor of the month scandal/Ayers. Where Obama is concerned, the plan is appended with racism..."
I didn't know Ayers was in a protected minority race, did you?
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 09:59 AM
Hi. I just got off the phone with Joe/Sam the plumber. He says that he hears that heart surgeons do pretty well in the cash department. Joe/Sam wants to know that if he decides next year to become, you know, a heart surgeon, is the Obama plan going to cost him money. I told him that yes it would and that he should start scaling back his lavish lifestyle in advance of this tax increase. I'm sad to report that Obama lost another voter.
Posted by: chris | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:01 AM
Protection is needed, however. What we need is protection from college professors like Ayers and Dohrn.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:01 AM
Tell Soejam, chris, that if an unqualified community organizer and junior senator like Obama can become the Dem candidate for President, then he can become a heart surgeon. All it takes in one good teleprompter performance at a Dem convention.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:05 AM
Funny that you mention the unqualified bit. I reminded him that Sarah Palin went to 5 colleges in 6 years and doesn't even seem to read periodicals but can still be a VP candidate. As a registered republican he felt encouraged by those words and thought that maybe he too could become a national candidate - if it meant that he wouldn't have to pay more taxes.
Posted by: chris | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:11 AM
If you actually listen to what Obama said (somewhat unartfully) it's clear that he meant he wants to spread the TAX BURDEN around...
Posted by: Spartan112 | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:12 AM
OH NO SOCIALISM SCARY SCARY
Posted by: LOL | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:13 AM
Actually though, chris, if Soejam is really ambitious, he should avoid going into medicine. It doesn't pay nearly as well as writing two self-absorbed autobiographies at an early age and becoming an ACORN advocate, a community organizer and a junior senator.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:14 AM
"If you listen to what Obama said..."
I've been listening for several years now, and I wouldn't vote for the man if he were running for dogcatcher. While I'm no huge fan of McCain, I absolutely, positively feel very motivated by Obama. To turn out the vote against him, which is what I will be doing in a couple of weeks. Makes me feel good to know I will be helping to rid the nation of a plague like Obama.
Posted by: templar knight | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:24 AM
Fred,
Those autobiographies are said to have been ghost-written by William Ayers.
Posted by: Lala | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:25 AM
Agent 112, I am afraid you are dreaming. What you say is untrue. Obama was asked on television by...that guy who looked down his spectacled nose at Palin this question: Why, if lower taxes have been shown to produce higher revenues, would Obama want to raise taxes. Obama said it was a QUESTION OF FAIRNESS. If Obama wanted to spread the TAX BURDEN around he would insist that the 40% who now pay NO TAXES would have to pay some taxes, even if only a little. Fairness, fairness, fairness. Robin Hood, Robin Hood, Robin Hood. (Altough Robin Hood didn't steal from the rich; he stole from the Church and the government. Why don't you suggest this approach to your friend Obie? That way you wouldn't have to come up with these contorted excuses for him.)

Thanks, Lala. I've read that speculation. I'm not convinced at this point. However, many celebrity autobios are ghost-written.
Posted by: Fred Beloit | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 10:32 AM
I think Joe The Plumber has a good sense of humor. About all the media attention he said, "I feel like Britney Spears with a headache".
This incident with Joe exposed some elitism in the critics. First off you do not have to have a license to be a residential plumber as long as you go with one of the firm who does have a license. By the way Joe is studying to be licensed. Of course, the Democrats hate Joe because he doesn't belong to a union.
I really hope some of you watched that Al Smith dinner last night on Fox and CNN and MSNBC. That was truly entertaining. It was great to see and hear a relaxed and funny John McCain. His jokes were much better than Obama's. I guess the Republicans have better joke writers than the Democrats.
But looking at the white tie crowd and the bedecked and bejewelled women like Hillary and Katie Couric really made me sick. Here are the media types yuk yuk yuking it up with the pols. Something is very wrong with this elite media elite hanging around drinking and eating with the people they are supposed to be covering. The Al Smith event was a Democratic event by the way if you did not know. Did you see that diamond necklace Katie Couric was wearing?Did you see that dress Hillary Clinton was wearing? There was not a working class hero in sight in that crowd. I mean they would never have let chris of boob in stamford in the door of the Waldorf Astoria for that event. Cry your heart out boob and chris.
That was no event for the forgotten man. Reminded me of old time depression movies where the rich are dressed to the nines and dancing the night away while bread lines go around the block and the homeless are sleeping on heating grates. And the Democrats and sickos like Keith Olberman don't like a working class guy like Joe the Plumber. Do you really think they care about blue collar workers except to maybe donate a few dollars to the food banks and homeless kitchens?
That event was funny to watch and great entertainment but it really shows what these media types and pols are up to in the evenings eating high on the hog with no sense of guilt or shame.

Why chris: "Sarah Palin went to 5 colleges in 6 years and doesn't even seem to read periodicals but can still be a VP candidate."
5 colleges in 6 years. That is an accomplishment. I wouldn't even be able to fill out the paperwork required. Shows her ambition, attention to detail, salespersonship, quest for perfection and persistence.
She said she reads all the papers, chris, not none of them. And we only know what we read in the papers. Isn't that sssooo true?

chris you are a boob too. Reading periodicals is no sign of intelligence. Quite the opposite. Really a total waste of time. I learned that long ago. I only read one mag. The New Yorker and really all I read in that is the cartoons. They are first rate. The mag itself used to be good but is terrible now that David Remnick is the editor. However they do share your political views chris.TIME AND NEWSWEEK are a big waste of time. I get the Washington Post and read it and other papers every day. So what? Newspapers like the Wash. Post have become nothing but propaganda. I get my news via the Web and all the good sources on Yahoo news like the AP and others.
A busy person has no time for magazines except in the waiting rooms of doctors and dentists.
I really don't know what to make of MSNBC except that Keith Olberman seems like a sick man to me. I know that one boss fired him and said Keith is crazy.
McCain was funny on Letterman last night also. Win or lose John McCain is a good man with a good sense of humor.
The Washington Post endorsed Obama today(big surprise!)but they did also say Obama has a thin resume. Think of that chris and boob your next President will have a thin resume if it is Obama. Only reason he will be elected is #1: He is black. #2: The bad economy #3.He is a Democrat. In that order.
Posted by: joeb | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:02 AM
You meant to say that BO will be elected DESPITE being black, right? Because that little old man would be down 15+ points if he was white.
Posted by: chris | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:09 AM
Here's a comment from a blog I read. Obama joking about being born in a manger?
"I don't think Cardinal Egan appreciated Obama's joke about the reports that he was born in a manger. Obama wasn't as funny, but he cracked himself up, which was funny. He did go off on a political tangent talking about the economy seriously. That's not what this dinner is about."
Posted by: Lala | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:17 AM
Another interesting thing about this Joe the Plumber business is this is one of the only time I can recall Obama actually spoke to an individual as opposed to reading speeches off a teleprompter. So the guy asked a question. He got an answer and all the spinning by both sides begins. Some smart Republican came up with the moniker Joe The Plumber. McCain put it out there and The One took the bait. Bad move on the part of Obama.
The Democrats have been carefully keeping Obama away from these one on one questions where he might slip up. The veil might come off and the man behind the curtain might be revealed. Obama is what? The Wizard of Oz. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
Posted by: joeb | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:18 AM
"Reading periodicals is no sign of intelligence."
speaking of signs of intelligence...why no grades or test scores from obama?
he'll be the first presidential candidate to run, without realeasing some proof of intelligence.
right now, the best sign of his intellectual 'goods' is that he believed there were 57 states in the US.
Posted by: mark l. | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:19 AM
Told you yesterday, Joe, vetted as he was, had to shoulder the blame for being so appealing that BO let down his guard and handed out his real agenda. Kind of fortunate, you get a preview of life in his administration.
McCain has only one chance. Figure out the antidote to brainwashing.
Posted by: mary | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:20 AM
some of obama's other signs of intelligence?
didn't know his preacher was a racist, despite attending the church for 20 years.
didn't know bill ayers was a terrorist.
didn't know that it would be unethical to buy land at a reduced rate from his political donor.
barry is at best niave...
any palin whoppers out there, where I can be led to believe that her judgement is worse than barry's?
anything come close to the three instances from above?
Posted by: mark l. | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:24 AM
The truest statement last night was when McCain chided BO about hearing that the economy might be turning around and then suspending his campaign to go and correct that.
And then hearing about the head honchos at the hedges making sure each employee donated the $2500 to Senator Government's campaign. Someone out there who knows more than me better start connecting those dots. The info is out there, unfortunately a lot of dems are in positions of power that would directly affect figuring this all out.

I would suggest that you, mary, sign up for trials on that brainwashing antidote.

speaking of being 'unlicensed'...
obama has repeatedly said he practiced law.
did he ever pass the bar exam?
Posted by: mark l. | Friday, October 17, 2008 at 11:30 AM
I really prefer to keep race out of this election. But since the lefties insist, as in chris:
"You meant to say that BO will be elected DESPITE being black, right? Because that little old man would be down 15+ points if he was white."
If Obama were white he wouldn't have 95% of the black vote, now would he? Did John "War Hero" Kerry have 95%? Did Al "Lockbox" Gore have 95%?

Oh yes, Politikos blames Obama for not vetting Soejam. That was very stupid for Obama to pick out a face in the crowd and invite a question that would expose his true character and politics. Obama should have VETTED the crowd before the performance to ensure the truth wouldn't get out. Thanks for pointing that out chris, you lovable little rapscallion.

Actually, George "Miserable Failure" Bush got 10% of the black vote in 2000 and 12% in 2004. So this additional 7% from 11% of the voters (at least in 2004) is why BO is ahead? Nice try, Fred. Maybe you and Sarah Palin should read some more.
