I like McCains plan much better. I do not want to see the goverment running anything else. Everything they get their paws on they screw it up for everyone.

The problem with "good intentions" is that they never work out the way the "good intenders" think they will. I would do the same thing. If my taxes are going to pay for health care then why should I also pay for it out of my pocket. I am paying for health care now and as soon as the govt gets in the business I'll stop paying.

Gov. Linda Lingle's administration cited budget shortfalls and other available health care options for eliminating funding for the program. A state official said families were dropping private coverage so their children would be eligible for the subsidized plan.
"People who were already able to afford health care began to stop paying for it so they could get it for free," said Dr. Kenny Fink, the administrator for Med-QUEST at the Department of Human Services. "I don't believe that was the intent of the program."

When you read the plans the CEO of a healthcare company who was interviewed on CNBC yesterday was right. She said that she hasn't really seen specifics from either campaign. She also said one of the biggest problems in healthcare today is fraud. She said if you get rid of the fraud things will automatically get better.
