The silly bimbo attended 5 colleges in 6 years

5 colleges??? The 6 year plan???

You sheep love morons, huh?

Fred's done a most splendid job of refuting THC and LOL, so I guess there's no need for me to add to the heap of derision that so deservedly belongs to those two baleful, drooling automatons from DKos that troll here, namely, Messrs. THC and LOL.

But since a second witness often helps to establish every fact...

(a) Ms. Ifill is a charming young Black woman who, like most of her race (about 90%) tend to like the socialist, public-grab-baggist policies of the Democratic Party (whilst seldom ever questioning the motives of their "benevolent patrons" for those handouts)

(b) Blacks tend to have a far greater sense of political, social, and racial solidarity than whites will ever have. Much like Jews, and (to a lesser extent) older Roman Catholics -- they tend to vote as a block.

Case in point: one of the more interesting stories my father had concerning his army days and particularly whilst deployed to Viet Nam in the mid to late 1960s, in the midst of the race riots that plagued the then recently desegregated armed forces, was that of his best friend (a black man) in his unit, who upon asked for an intervention to resolve an issue between himself and another black soldier, informed him that he would instantly side with the other black soldier, for no other reason than he was his co-ethnic "brother from another mother".

And this hasn't changed very much even to this day - my own military experience in the USAF - usually a bit more progressive than the USMC or the Army - the black airmen kept to themselves and were very standoffish to any well-meaning white airmen.

(c) Most public television personalities who get to go on the air are very, very leftist... more than 90% I'd say.

(d) Ms. Ifill has a book coming out - perfectly timed with Obama's inauguration to maximixe her sales no doubt - on 20 January, 2009. *IF* her man gets elected, she stands to make a pretty decent profit.

So, there we have it - the convergence of at least three factors as to why Ms. Ifill will likely (and subtly) bat softballs to Biden, whilst trying to put stumbling blocks in front of Palin.

Warren is talking to Quickie on CNBC and what disturbs me is that he keeps saying he called this two weeks ago and that it is "an economic Pearl Harbor". I know this is OT here but what is Buffet trying to tell us?

"--- No, you detect dubiousness about a person who believes that we are doing "god's will in Iraq," and that god chose her to be the gov. of Alaska, and that god believes there should be a natural gas pipeline. Loony. Don't need any more loony politicians who are clueless about the world. ---"

Wow, you really don't have much in the way of reading comprehension, eh mate?

First, she never said anything to the effect that she felt "we were doing God's will" in Iraq. She did pray, asking if God would keep us, as a nation, doing God's will. And included asking Him if being in Iraq was a part of His will.

The other parts I won't address simply because they seem rather silly: if she was elected governor of AK, then it follows that that was indeed the permissive will of God in action.

The pipeline as well - as that strikes me as very irresponsible not to tap our resources, especially when it could bridge the gap between sustainable and renewable energy technologies and the petroleum-based economy.

But you Dems refuse to let us use our natural resources to our own benefit: it is all part of your sinister and despicable plan to reduce us to the level of third world, seventh century poverty, ever and always dependent upon the noble masters at the top of the Party to keep us poor dung eaters fed.

"--- but what is Buffet trying to tell us? ---"

...That he and Soros are in cahoots to destroy this nation with socialism now they both are financially secure for the next foreseeable 30 generations, in order to keep the common riff-raff from ever challenging their New World Order?

Did anyone see this:

"Nancy Pelosi

Brother Seek I would be very worried about this little item (from Drudge);

http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/soros-floats-alternative-bailout-plan-with-dems-2008-09-30.html

Seems Uncle Georgie has his own ideas on how to "fix" things. I linked a story weeks back where he wanted to nationalize mortgages. It's all to "help" the little man don't cha know;

http://sweetness-light.com/archive/soros-2nd-biggest-profiteer-in-housing-crisis

With him, his god king Xerxes, San Fran Nan, Happy Harry, Uncle Joey, Barney, Dufus Dodd and the rest of the Dem leadership it's like having the fox guard the chicken house!

Or Bill in charge of the white house interns!

The prez just talked about passing the bill. Anyone know where the bill is up for the public to view?

Mary;
You can find a copy at http://www.c-span.org/. It's Financial Bill H.R. 1424. The thing is chocked full of earmarks, in fact it must be the Mother Of All Earmarks. Apparently, the only way to get the bill passed is to throw some candy into the feeding trough so all the pigs can swill together. Never mind that the majority of the American people are against the bill.

OBAMA MEDIA BIAS ... NOW, OBAMA DEBATE BIAS !!!
The nation already is skeptical about the fairness and objectivity of the mainstream media regarding election coverage ... so, why in the world is Gwen Ifill the debate moderator, when she is writing a book about Obama ... especially since her book sales would increase if Obama/Biden win? The moderator in a debate ... especially one of this importance and magnitude ... should be seen as completely fair, objective and above reproach. This is a terrible choice, and could easily have been remedied by choosing from hundreds of other more objective potential moderators. I can imagine the outcry if Michelle Malkin, or Ann Coulter was chosen as the moderator for the first Vice Presidential debate between Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. FURTHERMORE ... Everyone knows that Roland Martin is in the tank for Obama ... and regarding his call for Palin to either 'put up, or shut up' ... for millions of Americans, we still feel that Obama never adequately explained why he chose to spend TWENTY YEARS, yes TWENTY YEARS, in Jeremiah Wright's anti-American, racist, black liberation church, which gave a life time achievement award to Louis Farrakhan, and Obama only quit the church due to public outrage and personal ambition.

"--- having the fox guard the chicken house! ---"

Either that, or giving the foxes axes and a boiling pot of water with which to de-feather the plump hens, all nice and fattened up on a diet of welfare and social programmes.

Oh Geez, Obama hogging the floor of the Senate and CNN savoring every minute.

The sorry lengths we are brought to when we let our emotions instead of thoughts dictate what we say:
"Prove it. Find me a statement or action on Ifil's part that demonstrates that she can not fairly moderate this debate. That she wrote a book with Obama's name in the title is proof of one thing: she wrote a book with Obama's name in the title."

So you will reserve judgment and have no opinion, Totally, until you read my new book titled "Highlights and themes in the age of Rush Limbaugh", Fox News Publications.
