I totally blame Tom Brokaw for mouth breathing Palinuts screaming out their desires to kill and behead the treasonous Hussein Hussein Osama.

LOL...given that Obama supporters like Jaime are already blackmailing the United States with threats of violence if Obama loses, nobody really cares at this point.

Furthermore, jaime, given the support of Obama for terrorists who kill policemen, who celebrate the Manson murders, who insist that all white babies are "pigs" that should be killed or left in the garbage, and who are still loudly proclaiming that they should have done more bombing and killing, your attempt to go after Palin is really nothing more than desperate projection on your part.

OMG, the rednecks are going to take over Washington!! Nascar flags and washing machines on the WH lawn. Generic cigarette butts on the Capitol steps.

Oh, the humanity!!

McLame, the Man of Honor. Time he changed his slogan to McCain, First.

"Some McCain campaign officials are becoming concerned about the hostility that attacks against Sen. Obama are whipping up among Republican supporters. During an internal conference call Thursday, campaign officials discussed how the tenor of the crowds has turned on the media and on Sen. Obama."

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122359909175421497.html

He endorsed John McCain in the presidential primary, but now former Republican Gov. William Milliken is expressing doubts about his party's nominee.

"He is not the McCain I endorsed," said Milliken, reached at his Traverse City home Thursday. "He keeps saying, 'Who is Barack Obama?' I would ask the question, 'Who is John McCain?' because his campaign has become rather disappointing to me.

"I'm disappointed in the tenor and the personal attacks on the part of the McCain campaign, when he ought to be talking about the issues."

http://www.mlive.com/grpress/news/index.ssf/2008/10/former_governor_milliken_backs.html

I love the hypocrisy of the Obama campaign and its astroturfing commenters whining about Obama's proven and documented associations with, endorsements of, and support of known terrorists and terrorism supporters being brought into consideration -- when it was spreading claims that Trig Palin was not Sarah Palin's baby and that Todd Palin was having incestuous sex with his daughters.

"-- Furthermore, jaime, given the support of Obama for terrorists who kill policemen, who celebrate the Manson murders, who insist that all white babies are "pigs" that should be killed or left in the garbage, and who are still loudly proclaiming that they should have done more bombing and killing, your attempt to go after Palin is really nothing more than desperate projection on your part. --"

Hahaha. Totally unhinged.

I do like this new round of "blame the media" though. The GOP has an entire network dedicated to getting out whatever message they want. Hannity has been hammering the Ayers angle literally for months. O'Reily has had screaming fits over the Bankruptcy Bill. The GOP has spent tens of millions of dollars on advertising in attempts to link Obama to the mortgage crisis.

And after all this, the best you can come up with is "The TV isn't convincing people to vote McCain! It's the TV's fault!"

Consider, for just a second, that both sides have had more than enough opportunity to spread the messages about their respective campaigns and that the reason Obama leads in the polls is linked to the fact that the majority of people agree with the Democrats.

"-- I love the hypocrisy of the Obama campaign and its astroturfing commenters --"

/facepalm

Do you even know what the term "astroturfing" means? Are you honestly suggesting that the commenters on Dan's fifth rate shoe-string blog are paid activists of a partisan PAC, think tank, or other organized group?

Holy shit, conspiracy theories abound.

Alright, I'll come clean. I'm here on behalf of the Illuminati. Here, let me show you my secret decoder ring.

"I'm not advocating it..."

Just like McCain isn't advocating the shouts of "terrorist" at his rallies...he (and you) aren't condemning the act either, hence the widening gap in the polls. When does McCain pack it in in Pennsylvania like he did in Michigan?

"I love the hypocrisy of the Obama campaign and its astroturfing commenters when it was spreading claims that Trig Palin was not Sarah Palin's baby and that Todd Palin was having incestuous sex with his daughters."

Prove it with a link to an official statement from the Obama campaign.

"I'm here on behalf of the Illuminati."

That's TOO funny!! I'm from the Bilderberg Group. Let me know if you want to go to next year's meetings - I've got pull!

"Dan's fifth rate shoe-string blog are paid activists of a partisan PAC"

I came for the Natalee Holloway and stayed for the incorrect political analysis.

Macaca '06!!!!!!!

"Do you even know what the term "astroturfing" means? Are you honestly suggesting that the commenters on Dan's fifth rate shoe-string blog are paid activists of a partisan PAC, think tank, or other organized group?"

Yup.

Because that's what Obama's campaign manager does.

"Consider, for just a second, that both sides have had more than enough opportunity to spread the messages about their respective campaigns and that the reason Obama leads in the polls is linked to the fact that the majority of people agree with the Democrats."

Do you think the majority of people agree with this?

"Convinced that all whites were born tainted with the original sin of “skin privilege,” the fighting brigade of the New Left internalized racialist thinking as hatred of their own whiteness. “All white babies are pigs,” declared one Weatherman. On one occasion the feminist poet Robin Morgan was breast-feeding her son at the offices of the radical journal Rat. A Weatherwoman saw this and told her, “You have no right to have that pig male baby.” “How can you say that?” Morgan asked. “What should I do?” “Put it in the garbage,” the Weatherwoman answered.

Bernadine Dohrn [Ayers' wife], an acid-loving University of Chicago law student turned revolutionary, reflected the widespread New Left fascination with the serial-killing hippie Übermensch Charles Manson. “Dig It! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!” In appreciation, her Weather Underground cell made a three-fingered “fork” gesture its official salute."

Because those are the people to whom Barack Obama paid hundreds of millions of dollars to teach their ideology in the public school system.

Or with this?

"A man at the center of a voter-registration scandal told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times, in apparent violation of Ohio laws.

"Sometimes, they come up and bribe me with a cigarette, or they'll give me a dollar to sign up," said Freddie Johnson, 19, who filled out 72 separate voter-registration cards over an 18-month period at the behest of the left-leaning Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

"The ACORN people are everywhere, looking to sign people up. I tell them I am already registered. The girl said, 'You are?' I say, 'Yup,' and then they say, 'Can you just sign up again?' " he said."

http://www.nypost.com/seven/10102008/news/politics/1_voter__72_registrations_132965.htm

Because that's what the Obama campaign pays for and endorses.

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/election/s_584284.html

Tell us, leftists; really, is there anything that Obama does that you would consider to be wrong? We've already seen that you support his racist beliefs and his giving money to teach said racist hate of white people in schools. We've seen that you support his support of voter fraud, and we've seen that you support his support of violence if he's not elected.

I think it may be the case that voters want to vote for somebody that is the furthest from what we have today and that isn't McCain. The wrong track/wrong direction thing. Add to that, McCain's misteps and people are moving to Obama.

Nothing is sticking to Obama because there just isn't much there to stick. The only people outraged are solid McCain supporters.

I've mentioned it before and I really think McCain screwed up in the VP choice. His target audience wasn't the bush base. It all started there. He should have firmed up his experience argument and perhaps added a more liberal republican. And then kept it cool and not appear to have erratic behavior. And now with his mortgage ideas (which incidently have been on blogs for sometime), McCain just angered the very same people he hoped to attract with Palin.

Even the maverick slogan is backfiring, because it represents unpredictable behavior in a time when people are desperate for stability.

Prove it with a link to an official statement from the Obama campaign.

Ah, I see.....so while you and yours claim that the McCain/Palin campaign is agitating for Obama's assassination based on random people in crowds, you now insist that paid bloggers who have openly endorsed and supported the Obama campaign, such as DailyKos and Andrew Sullivan, who receive preferential treatment from the Obama campaign, and who even host diaries for said candidate on their websites, cannot be in any way considered part of the Obama campaign.

And also for your claims about David Axelrod never having been engaged in astroturfing.....that's a bit like Obama's frantic spins that he had never served on a board or in any way been associated with Bill Ayers. It'll change shortly.

NDT, do you even read the links you post? You're so far off in right field, I'm not even sure if you're in the park.

Half those links have nothing to do with what you're talking about. All of them are Op-Eds.

No, they're not part of Obama's campaign.

Again, where's the link to an offical release from Obama?

Comone - where's the quote?

Here's one from Obama:

MONROE, Michigan (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama said firmly that families are off-limits in the campaign for president, reacting to news that GOP running mate Sarah Palin's 17-year-old daughter is pregnant.

"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits. This shouldn't be part of our politics. It has no relevance to Gov. Palin's performance as governor or her potential performance as a vice president."

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/09/01/obama.palin/

"I came for the Natalee Holloway and stayed for the incorrect political analysis.

Macaca '06!!!!!!!"

I actually came here after watching the losers on Fox during election night 2006. They mentioned some blogger that I had never heard of called the Webb/Allen race. Even they were laughing. Well, I had to check out the site... Macaca '06 indeed!

We had a Obama raally in our town, and it was rumored that Obama would be there. I kidded some of people I work with, asking if they were going. The anger took me aback. I am for McCain/PALIN. But the anger some of these people had towards Obama was much worse than I had anticipated. I was kidding, and they were'nt.

I'm not advocating it, but I do fear some Americans probably can imagine it at this point. In fact, I have little doubt of it. And I can understand that rage, even if I wouldn't support such an action.

So you're not advocating it or supporting such a thing. Great. What is your stance then? I notice you don't even say it wouldn't be such a good thing let alone condemn it.

More bad news for the Grand OLD Party

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081010/ap_on_el_pr/working_class_voters

Pithy excerpt:

"I don't know that there's anything I particularly like about him (Obama), but I dislike McCain, and I dislike the way the country is, and Republicans need to change," said lifelong Republican Ruth Ann Michel, 64, a retiree shopping in a market in Butler (PA) on a recent day. She said her vote for Obama would be her first for a Democratic presidential candidate."

:-p "-- I notice you don't even say it wouldn't be such a good thing let alone condemn it. --" :-p

Sorry, anyone who demands that you condemn "violence" is a 'tard. No shit you condemn violence. Violence bad. Non-violence good. If you have to tell someone you're against physical beatings, you've already lost the argument.

That said, I know far more conservatives who have grown rather disgusted with the entire Washington process - from bailouts to wiretapping/torture to Shavio to the initial Iraq invasion - than are pissed at "the media" for being mean to their candidates.

Those conservatives who are pissed aren't mad at the media nearly as much as they are at the candidates for running such a ham-handed campaign. No one I know is blaming CNN for McCain's shitty poll numbers.

"Sorry, anyone who demands that you condemn "violence" is a 'tard. No shit you condemn violence. Violence bad. Non-violence good. If you have to tell someone you're against physical beatings, you've already lost the argument."

Read the post again. Multiple times if necessary. Pay particular attention to the title of the post and the last paragraph. Dan is saying that if someone blew up the NYT he'd understand why and is suggesting that they'd bear at least some of the responsibility. What kind of "'tard" are you not to get that and why give him the benefit of the doubt based on the content of this post?

"Half those links have nothing to do with what you're talking about. All of them are Op-Eds."

State specifically which half for starters.

In addition, explain why you support and endorse the campaign finance fraud in which the Obama campaign is engaging.

http://www.newsweek.com/id/162403

Furthermore, if all of them are "op-eds", please explain why the last two quoted, just for starters, are news stories.

"Let me be as clear as possible," Obama said. "I think people's families are off-limits, and people's children are especially off-limits.

Which is why he refused to condemn DailyKos and Andrew Sullivan, two of his paid bloggers, for making such statements.

Well I'm angry. Angrier than I've ever been in my life. I'm angry at the mainstream media. My rage at the way they are conducting themselves is astronomical. I'm disgusted with Obama and his smarmy lies and projections, but it is the media that is driving the narrative. I'm angry that we have now raised two generations of voters who have no conception about what they are endorsing because they have been so indoctrinated, so brainwashed by their leftist educations. The have no basis in history. They do not understand what communism and neo-stalinism are all about and because they have no base of understanding, they do not see the dangers.

I'm also angry about the open racism of the media and the Obama campaign and its supporters. The idea that this country is going to elect a man whose whole life is about subversion and destruction of the American system just because he's black infuriates me. For gawd's sake people, wake up. Believe me, when the purges come, you will be the first to go. And the media, do you think you won't be among the first too? Obama has already proved that he is ready and willing to shut down any dissenting voices and freedom of speech and freedom of the press are anathema to someone with a messiah complex as is your right to defend yourself. Stalin, Chavez, Saddam, Ho Chi Minh, Mao, the Castro brothers, Che, these are the heroes of this cult of Obama. Mass murderers all.

If Obama is so damn great, then why do you need so much voter fraud in order to get him elected. Why do you need to guilt people as racists in order to get your guy elected?

It seems obvious that MSM will continue to work their collective butt off to get Obama elected by failing to report, with any thoroughness, the truth behind 'Dear Leader.' Then, once he's elected (and he will be elected), then they will start reporting on the rest of the story. From a business perspective, it's pretty smart.

Again, NDT wrote:

"I love the hypocrisy of the Obama campaign and its astroturfing commenters when it was spreading claims that Trig Palin was not Sarah Palin's baby and that Todd Palin was having incestuous sex with his daughters."

Still waiting for a link to an official quote from the Obama campaign that actually attacks Trig. Cause that's what you claimed.

"HIS paid bloggers?" Got any proof of that? Cause I think it would come as a suprise to Sullivan or Kos to know they're on Obama's payroll.

By the way, WHO pays you for posting this crap?

"-- Which is why he refused to condemn DailyKos and Andrew Sullivan, two of his paid bloggers, for making such statements. --"

LOLS!

For starters, Axelrod certainly works with the left leaning netroots. He's playing on the foundations Dean set in '04 and exploited to great effect in '06.

Your link has successfully linked David Axelrod to his private enterprise group, but failed to link it to DKos or Sullivan, much less the random commenters at Dan's blog. You might as well link us to a story about Obama being a "Chicago politican" and immediately conclude the entire Dem party was taken over by the Chicago mob.

Secondly, the National Review and the New York Post are hyper-partisan opinion journals with all the integrity of a tabloid rag. They're opinion pieces by their very nature. Please save those links for people who care what flavor of koolaid K-Lo is drinking this month.

The two other links you threw up thread are actually in the "opinion" sections of their respective newspapers. I don't know how it could be more clear that they are "opinion" pieces.

And since you're in Dallas, I figure I might as well add - GO HOOOOOOOOOOORNS!

See what I did there? I just Astroturfed for UT. :-p

"You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."
- Louis Farrakhan
p.s. Obama = Pied Piper of Hamlin!

There already is blood in the streets, in St. Paul, remember all those arrests?

"-- p.s. Obama = Pied Piper of Hamlin! --"

He's drowning the rats?

Astroturf? We post - you decide.

http://northdallasthirty.blogspot.com/

Scroll down to "The Power of Delegation", which says:

"Fortunately, John over at GayPatriot covers my reaction to the news quite nicely, and Famous Author Rob Byrnes manages the rejoinder with both style and flair."

That post links to: http://www.gaypatriot.net/2008/09/23/on-the-outing-of-mark-buse/

"This particular blogger is practically giddy about the “outing” of Mark Buse, Senate chief of staff to Republican presidential nominee John McCain. However, since I noticed the link and have a little time tonight, why not?"

Whaddaya think? Is North Dallas Thirty really Mark Buse, McCain's chief of staff and astroturfing away?

The Taliban-Republican's biggest nightmare is an Obama win. Why? For the opposite reasoning that they're arguing. Give it a year.

October 2009: when Farrakhan ISN'T Secretary of State. Bill Ayers isn't writing our Education policy. We AREN'T under Sharia law. And the morons who post on Dan Riehl's blog haven't been lined up and shot (robbing them of their Red Dawn fantasies). Then what?

The collapse of society as they know it won't happen, and most people will see them for the psycho zealots they are and their ilk will be small enough to drown in a bathtub.

Had a lovely conversation with a woman of color who is my age, today.(as she sometimes describes herself adding "I want to be politically correct you know") (as you have probably guessed she is a real firecracker) It was a business call which ended on more personal terms. Ultimately we discussed the market and the economy and politics. Probably all subjects many would caution we not discuss in a business context. We had a very frank discussion about who we might vote for. She has already decided, I have not. Knowing this, she gave me a litany of reasons as to why she is voting for John McCain. She told me she is not alone. She advised me that the invisible black upper middle class is not all "in the can" for Obama as some would have you believe. It was wonderful talking to her as it reaffirmed my belief that americans are a thinking people. Americans will think before they pull the lever, they will think a lot. That can only be a good thing, no matter who they pick.

Paulson having a press conference now?

"as you have probably guessed she is a real firecracker"

Why would have I guessed that about her? What evidence did you offer besides she was "your age" and "a woman of color?" Why would her being black make her a firecracker? You are deliriously out of touch.

Care to regale us about your encounter with your florist who you suspect is a gay?

Just ignore him, Mary, I find your posts interesting and informative.

Yes, Mary. Please continue to encounter these people of color and inform the ridiculously ignorant about what they truly feel. Not everyone has a 'black friend' they can talk to, you know.

dan, from the tone of the article that you just put up, it seems that John McCain is the only guy out there who is not angry and is playing a gentlemanly game. Let's hope it doesn't backfire on him.

Do YOU have any friends jaime...outside of the other snot-nosed kids in your class?

I'm well out of school.

Shouldn't you be at a McCain rally wishing that someone would behead the treasonous terrorist, Hussein Hussein Hussein Osama?

It's come to this. After 12 years of corrupt, inept, hypocritical Republican governance, we have veiled threats from these neocon Republicans if they don't get their way.

Failed wars in the Middle East, financial meltdown in the US, and these folks blame everyone but their own Republican corruption.

Is the neocon Republican base afraid that they will be treated the same way they treated the rest of America during the years of Republican corruption.

These neocon rabid threats will not be forgiven. Their perfidity and abandoment of American ideals and the Constitution will be remembered for a generation.

Agree completely with the post.

And, as IslamoLlama knows, the astro-turfing is very real.

Oh!

Now I'm enraged!

"I'm well out of school."
Well, hang in there, son, with a little effort and some concentration you should be able to pass your GED.

"I'm not advocating it, but I do fear some Americans probably can imagine it at this point. In fact, I have little doubt of it. And I can understand that rage, even if I wouldn't support such an action, nudge, nudge, wink, wink." There. Corrected.

The funny thing is that the vast majority of the people commenting here are outright cowards. No way do they have the guts to start a real fight where they themselves are involved.

But even funnier is that Danny is advocating terrorism. He realy is the flip side of the same coin called Bin Laden.

"Imagine a hard working, mostly white middle class marching on Washington wondering how this inept government destroyed the American dream."

Okay...but can we dispense with the euphemisms and call these people what they are: a mob of hostile insurgents intent on bringing the government down?

You hypocritical bastards on the Left who have called for and celebrated a possible assassination of GWB should expect Obama to receive the exact same treatment. You didn't give a shit when Leftists marched around with GWB signs with him depicted with his head cut off, and calling him a terrorist, so STFU. And quit acting as if you aren't guilty of the same damn thing. But, of course, it's free speech when a Leftist does it, right? You Leftists are the most hateful and hypocritical bastards to ever live. Now, to show you there are no hard feelings, have a nice evening, you liberal sons of bitches. LOL.

Exactly who on the left has "called for and celebrated" an assassination attempt on BUSH? Both the left and the right have extremists. Yours are usually better armed, and *much* more likely to actually carry out such an attempt.
There are many on the left who would like to see Bush out of office, either by impeachment or by trial in the Hague.

The point being ignored here, as usual, is that you can't *reasonably* equate the opinions and statements of anonymous people on the left with the opinions and statements of icons of the right like Limbaugh, Colter, Savage, et al. Or current GOP VP candidates, or current GOP presidential campaigns and their official surrogates.

I can understand why people like O'Reilly need to pretend that they're the same thing, but they're not. The O'Reilly method, which is very popular here, is to claim victory by controlling the soapbox and yelling the loudest.

The right really does Reagan proud with the "liberal media" thing, don't you? He created the myth in the first place, and the right blindly keeps it alive. Yup, the media sure did a good job getting Gore and Kerry elected didn't they? The way they continually repeated the stories about Gore that had be *proven* to be false. And the way the NY Times held on to the illegal domestic eavesdropping story until *after* Bush was re-elected. And the way they've given McCain a pass up until very recently. McCains BBQ ribs must really be good. Yup, they sure are in the bag for the left all right.

Finally, if you're going to try to make your arguments look stronger by supplying links, understand that a link to a post by Johah Goldberg in which he quotes an excerpt from from his own book (without a citation) is NOT supporting evidence.
