To an extent the Sunday talking head shows are an echo chamber. However, from witnessing how Fred Thompson hurt himself on Meet the Press (opposed Human Life Amendment) they can play an important role.

Mr. Hackbarth, I thought I recognized your name. You were formerly on Fred Thompson's campaign staff.

Needless to say, I am less than impressed with Senator Thompson's role as a stalking horse for McCain, and I deeply regret having donated to his campaign. But like anything else, politics is a bit of a gamble, no? I suppose I will not get a refund, eh?

It was the first and last time I donated to candidate's primary election, that is for certain.

And speaking of Sunday talking head shows -- Dan, I gotta wonder if you are getting a lot of click-through income from that wretched MSNBC scrolling advert on the right column.

Don'tcha know only commies write for MSNBC?

Gotta love the current headline with the sneer quotes: "Bush 'deeply concerned' about Ike" followed by Rachel Madcow's beaming visage... and the Truthers seem to have gotten a shred of airtime on the crawl as well with "9-11 Mastermind-gate".

Barry Husseins "going on the attack" is a joke...the reality is that the media has been given its marching orders from the Dumbs to stop talikng about Palin and attack the Republicans....Watching MSNBC this morning made me laugh my ass off....Andrea "Chronic Yeast Infection" Mitchell was reading the same old Dumbocratic talikng points and NY Slime headlines over and over again while the MSNBC morons were applauding and cheering her saying, "Wow Obama has finally taken the gloves off...this is great"....pathetic

I noted the face of George Stephanopolous was bathed in an almost avaricious glee when talking to someone from Obama's campaign poopooing Sarah Palin's interview with Gibson. That spoke to me more loudly than words.

I like watching slow moonbat suicides like MSNBC's ads, seek. What's not to like?

I read a funny article about "taking the gloves off". I will try to find it for your reading pleasure.

Chris Cuomo (Gov.'s son) was interviewing Obama on ABC this morning. His body language looked to me like he didn't believe a word of what Obama was saying.

This is a funny article from Roger Kimball who wonders if there is a budget category for gloves at the Obama campaign.

"Somebody has it in for Obama. What makes me say so? Well, there’s the matter of the gloves. Every few weeks now, Obama comes out and says “I’ve had enough of these nasty Republican smear tactics, the outrageous inquiries into my relationship with the admitted (and unrepentent) terrorist Bill Ayers or my 20-years as a congregant in the church of the anti-American wack-job Jeremiah Wright. From now on , I’m taking off the gloves and am going to run a tough (but high-minded) campaign.”"

"--- From now on , I’m taking off the gloves and am going to run a tough (but high-minded) campaign ---"

Says "Isotoner Barry", whose simply adding to the great heap of used, smear-jobbed gloves he's been handing out to the media.

It must be nice owning most of the MSM as opposed to actually having to buy airtime.
