Palin/Obama: Well, There Is That

Interesting question ... why isn't the media hailing Bristol Palin's baby as someone who might just grow up to be President one day?

On Feb. 2, 1961, several months after they met, Obama's parents got married in Maui, according to divorce records. It was a Thursday. At that point, Ann was three months pregnant with Barack Obama II. Friends did not learn of the wedding until afterward. "Nobody was invited," says Abercrombie. The motivations behind the marriage remain a mystery, even to Obama. "I never probed my mother about the details. Did they decide to get married because she was already pregnant? Or did he propose to her in the traditional, formal way?" Obama wonders. "I suppose, had she not passed away, I would have asked more."

I know that this isn't coming from an credible source like the moonies over at the Washington Times, but Barack Obama's mother isn't running for president. So if little Tigger or whatever 'creative' name they give the kid grows up to run for president no one is going to say much other than "hey, wasn't your grandmother the disastrous VP choice 40 years ago?? Wow, what was that old guy thinking!!".

Last I checked, no one is claiming that that the kid can't some day be president. Also, last time I checked, Obama disclosed the fact of his single-mother-ness in a god damn book, instead of trying to cover it up in order to get the VP nod.

What did Palen try to cover up again? Wasn't it the lefty blogs that were demanding a DNA test because they became convinced that her youngest son was really her daughter's? Even though if they had taken the time for the most cursery search they would have found an interview with Palin's doctor who talked about the delivery, the plane ride, all the things the Kos Kids were up in arms about.

And since Palin is being called trailer trash for having a big family and her daughter's situation, since Obama was himself the product of a 'shotgun' type wedding...I wonder what they makes him.

Did anyone notice the interaction between Cindy and Sarah at the airport when McSame came in today. McSame spent more time in the meet and greet line with the Paulin family - no biggie I guess - but when he went to board the bus, there was Cindy at the door and McSame heading to it followed closely by Paulin. Cindy gave a pretty little dismissive wave to Paulin and sort of pulled McCain onto the bus. Paulin had to walk back either to another door or another vehicle. Just a cute;little moment which leads me to predict that McSame's senile crush on Paulin may well be the beginning of the end for her. I don't think Cindy appreciates it.

I am looking forward to hearing her speech tonight. Don't know if she will "roar", but it should be interesting and hopefully engaging enough people so that they will let her daughter alone. But it is when our little "Sock Puppet" posts under his BoobinStamford puppet identity that he finishes many of his posts with his little dig at those same Marine's you claim to support with the disrespectful habit of using the corp motto of "Semper Fi".

I have two good friends that are retired Marines that have seen Sockie's posts and feel the same as Scrapy. I can't speak for Scrapy but I for one do not really advocate doing any harm to your Sock Puppet hero. He is obviously in need of professional help but if you want to feign outrage then do so for the right reasons.

She has next to no experience in government. When ask about national security back ground or knowledge regarding foreign affairs the best Ms. McCain could come up with was “she lives right by Russia.” She has only traveled outside the country twice in her life. She belonged (as did her husband “Mr. first Dude”) to a 3rd party which among other things supports allowing Alaska to secede from the United States and feels the only thing wrong with the John Birch Society was it was to liberal! She tried to have a local Librarian fired for not banning books. Used her political office to try to have fired and smear a state trooper who is in a custody battle with her sister. Is being investigated for this and is worried enough about the outcome to have recently “lawyered up.” Currently has pretty messy family issues, recently gave birth to a son with Downs Syndrome and has a 17 year old daughter who is pregnant. Ironically she has fought sex education in the schools and availability of contraception for minors. Believes that for 9 months a woman has no right to control what is happening to her own body and is basically nothing more than a baby container. She does not believe in a women’s right to choose to end a pregnancy, even if she has been raped. Does not believe human pollution has anything to do with global warming (even Bush has had to back down on this one). Is so in bed with big oil she is willing to watch as the polar bear and beluga whales become extinct, rather than slow the possibility of drilling. She would open up one of the last great wilderness on earth to exploitation by oil interests. Laughs when hearing a fellow Republican woman being called a bitch in public (she and the woman had disagreed on several issues) I guess this does make her on par with McCain who thinks it is alright to call your wife a cunt in public. Has an undergraduate degree in Journalism for a small obscure university. She has been repeatedly described as stubborn with a vicious streak – even by family and friends. (nick name Sarah Barracuda) Did fund raising and accepted money from the same sources as Sen. Ted Stevens. Pushed for the “bridge to no where – the flipped when convenient to do so. She has been named Sen. John McCain’s VP selection for the Republican ticket. Sen. McCain is 72 years old and has reoccurring cancer as part of his health history. One can not help but question Mr. McCain’s judgment regarding her selection.
