It at least appears as though Andrew Sullivan wasn't the first blog to link to a docket on the motion to seal files in a divorce settlement recently in the news, as was claimed by Dean Barnett at The Weekly Standard.
I decided to do some actual digging given my admonitions to The Weekly Standard and some others in comments and emails about not launching our own public with hunt while the Left is killing itself with theirs over Palin.
All it required was Technorati - which certainly suggests this blog post dated Sept. 4 at 1:48 PM was the first to carry a link to that docket page. Sullivan's post didn't appear until 11:49 on Sept. 5. See "affairs" in bold.
As you know, all of us here at Dakota do as we're told, so we'll leave Sarah's family out of this. There are more important things than her alleged affair/affairs upon which to focus, like her political positions and her basic understanding of the Constitution
Link if it works: actually two finds precede Sullivan by a day - there's no time stamp on another blog post from September 5 linking the docket. And the bottom item here may simply have a bad date. It's unclear to me how reliable Technorati is these days.

Wow, if 'Dakota' is worried about Palin's understanding of the constitution (and from the quote she may have been talking about the Alaska constitution [see, Dakota, each state *also* has a constitution, and each state governor takes an oath to uphold it]), then she should be petrified of the Obama campaign which is running ads stating that a President McCain would "overturn Roe v Wade" when no president can do that. Only SCOTUS or a constitutional amendment could do that. Boy, is that Obama campaign stupid for so misunderstanding the Constitution, or what?

Ha!! Article I, sec 25 of the Alaska State Constitution was amended in 1998 to say "To be valid or recognized by the state, a marriage would have to be between one man and one woman." Thus, Palin's "basic understanding of the constitution" is just fine, and Dakota is a non-fact checking moron. Took me all of 3 minutes to find this.

A quick whois search of the domain turns up the registrant names of Tess Herder and Brian J. Miller of Cambridge, MA.
There's more to be found if you do a google search and a news search. Seems to be a Harvard Law connection, although if it's important or not, I can't tell.

The constuition referance may come from this clearly incorrect response on the Eagle Forum questionnaire:
Q: Are you offended by the phrase "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?
PALIN: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance

"--- Q: Are you offended by the phrase "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?
PALIN: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance ---"
Based upon your quote, Mr. BeDookey, her response to that Eagle Forum in no way explicitly (or implicitly) refers to the US or Alaskan state Constitutions.
Now granted, the Knights of Columbus (a Roman Catholic fraternal service organization) lobbied for the "under God" to be included in the Pledge of Allegiance sometime in the 1950s... but I'm sure that you will agree that many, if not most of the Founding fathers (even if deists) would say that this Republic was brought into being by the grace of Almighty God.
Hence, Ms. Palin is not entirely incorrect in her assertion at the Eagle Forum.

You'd expect a little more from a web site that calls itself The Intelligence Daily but don't.
Write William Fisher takes Sarah Palin to task because while running for the Governor of Alaska, she provided the answers below to the question also below:
"In relationship to families, what are your top three priorities if elected governor?"
This was Sarah Palin's response:
"1) Creating an atmosphere where parents feel welcome to choose the venues of education for their children; 2) Preserving the definition of "marriage" as defined in our constitution, and 3) Cracking down on the things that harm family life: gangs, drug use, and infringement of our liberties including attacks on our 2nd Amendment rights."
Good ole Bill then informs his readers (getting his numbers mixed up while he does it) that everyone should really worry about Sarah Palin because
It should worry us because the word 'marriage' never appears anywhere in our Constitution.
What Bill fails to put together was that Sarah Palin was running for Governor of the State of Alaska; hence her answers applied to Alaska (fancy that).
Alaska, like every other state, has its own Constitution and does indeed, like many state constitutions, address "marriage". § 25. Marriage
To be valid or recognized in this State, a marriage may exist only between one man and one woman. [Amended 1998] Many states have taken to defining "man" and "woman" in their Constitutions because of stupid decisions by activist Judges who determine to redefine words we all have understood for years.

Tess Heder (who owns the website on which this smear first appeared) is the daughter of Max Isenbergh, Harvard Law Professor and Kennedy administration official.
She's also most likely the sister of Joseph Isenbergh, who's a law professor at the University of Chicago.
I leave you to draw your own conclusions from this information.

Dakota Feinstein is a Jewish woman who is a channeler, spiritualist, etc blahblah. Her homepage shows a self-photograph, with a stranger in a raincoat.
I believe she lives in Montreal now, but at one time resided in CT.
