S'okay, if Barack Obama's significant executive experience amounts to his running his own campaign (which isn't even true), then why is he already taking steps to try and fix his mistakes if his judgment is so dang good?
Quick, someone get some AMTRAK passes for these guys, otherwise we might just have to kick Biden under the bus with everyone else!
But they have assigned a couple of veteran minders to travel with him - David Wilhelm, the former Democratic National Committee chairman, and David Wade, former spokesman for Senator John Kerry. Wade said that Biden's occasional stumbles prove to voters that he is human and that they help them relate to the candidate.

Breaking news.
Your VP candidate just delivered the most embarrassing, humiliating, and idiotic interview in the history of our great country.
And she knew the questions in advance!
God help us.

Gibson just delivered the most embarrassing, humiliating (pardon my redundancy), and idiotic interview in the history of ABC, well maybe. And he was asking the questions!
From Ace of Spades blog:
"Charlie Gibson didn't really demonstrate the preparation, experience, and fluidity with the issues that I expect of a network anchor.
Are we sure he's fit to step in and lead a nightly network newscast? He could stand a bit more coaching."

Perhaps this will help Harpo, who gets so excited he understates everything.
From Allahpundit at Hot Air:
http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/04/yawn-the-ap-smears-palin-over-prayer-for-troops-in-iraq/
"Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending [U.S. soldiers] out on a task that is from God,” she exhorted the congregants. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.”
Here’s what the AP turns it into:
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told ministry students at her former church that the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a “task that is from God.”…
“Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God,” she said. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God’s plan.”
What’s missing from the AP’s version? Right — the beginning of what she said, the part that makes clear she’s not asserting that we’re doing God’s will but simply praying that we are. It’s the difference between me saying “McCain will win” and “I pray McCain will win.”

"--- “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God’s plan.” ---"
Amen, sister Palin.
Praying that we are in and doing the will of God - there is no better place to be in the centre of His will and plan for each of us.

Excuse me, jharp, if I have a problem believing you are an objective observer. And yes, if Obama wins, God help us for sure. Thank Him that the numbers are now running the other way, and now the Congress is starting to come around for Republicans. Terrorist-supporters like Obama should be retired ASAP. Only in a thug state like Illinois is such a thing possible. Pathetic.

Let's talk about experience, gravitas, good JUDGEMENT. I mean for the leader of the free world if anybody cares about that. Yesterday at the 9-11 memorial ceremony:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1HIYGCu3zg Sen. Obama tosses the roses, Sen. McCain and Mrs. McCain PLACE the roses at the memorial site. It is a matter of taking the time to be respectful. And it shows the vast chasm between a TRUE leader and a self conscious high school senior. Now where was Mrs. Obama? Taking care of kiddies and school? Making an appearance for Black Baptists? WHICH is it alphabet networks? Seems to me that a democrat presidential candidate would see the opportunity for a great lesson in taking his daughters and wife to a solemn ceremony in honor of 3000 Americans who died at the plans of muslim terrorists on our own soil in one horrific day. HEY, but that's just me.

"Obama tosses the roses,..." He's probably seen the Godfather too many times. Nothing much else to do when, no matter what you do, your communities refuse to organize.
