The Obaudacious one - bought and paid for by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. That's quite an interesting and corrupt web of corruption the political savior out of Chicago has.
He took more money from Fannie and Freddie than any Senator but the Democratic chairman of the committee that regulates them. He put Fannie Mae's CEO who helped create this disaster in charge of finding his Vice President. Fannie's former General Counsel is a senior advisor to his campaign. Whose side do you think he is on? When I pushed legislation to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Senator Obama was silent. He didn't lift a hand to avert this crisis. While the leaders of Fannie and Freddie were lining the pockets of his campaign, they were sowing the seeds of the financial crisis we see today and enriching themselves with millions of dollars in payments. That's not change, that's what's broken in Washington.

Maybe we'll talk about this once McCain decides whether or not he's for or against deregulation.

Considering Rick Davis held a position where he was responsible for fighting off regulation for the likes of Fannie and Freddie when he was President of Home Alliance I'm not sure McCain wants to spend too much time beating the drum on this one.
Let's also not forget that a McCain adviser Aquiles Suarez was in charge of lobbying for Fannie Mae from '03 to '06.
Charlie Black another McCain aide worked for a firm that made over 800k lobbying for Freddie Mac.
Vice Chair of the MCain campaign Wayne Berman worked for a lobbying firm that represented Fannie Mae.
Arther Culverhouse who vetted Palin made 80k lobbying for a firm on behalf of Fannie Mae.
That's a mighty nice glass house McCain is living in. Or is that 9 glass houses?

A lot of hands in the cookie jar.
Dodd & Obama obviously used both hands.

We need term limits and Federal Prosecution for those that used their Office
and votes to enrich themselves.
Now the Taxpayer is expected to pay off bad debt from the Mortgage Pimps/Gamblers.
I don't like that concept and indebting unborn generations of American Taxpayers
is a bad practice and will set a very bad precidence.
It is equally stupid as Biden comparing paying higher taxes to patriotism.
The next Boston Tea Party will make the last one look like a church picnic.
It will come when America wakes up.

Nice try Sparky, maybe Lame-O, Jimmy and some of your other troll buddies will buy your crap
It's pretty obvious who's being led around by the nose by the ex-heads of these failed public goldmines.
Try as you may there's no denying that your Chicago hack Barry was #2 on the paid off politician list right after Dodd.
That would be bad enough and the media would be pissing themselves if it was McCain that instead hired these thieving bastards but your boy will just get another "get out of jail free" card from his media hacks.
Nothing to see here move along!
Now did you hear that Palin's little girl was seen hanging around the boys bathroom at her elementary school, she is just a little tramp like her mother and sister!

So rather than admit your boy is no different than any other politician in Washington, your answer is, "Everybody's doing it." You're a fu..king hypocrite, Sparty, a fu..king hypocrite.

The Bambi-ites have their talking points down don't they....
Who is running for President: Bambi (bought and paid for by Fannie and Freddie) or McCain?
Who has accepted over $500 Thousand from Fannie and Freddie? Bambi
Who ran Fannie and Freddie? Give you a hint..they were Dems! Gorelick - Raines - Johnson - the list goes on and on.......
Who ran Lehman Brothers into the ground? Johnson
Who tried to regulate Fannie and Freddie? McCain and Bush
Who stopped the regulating...some corrupt Republicans and a helluva lot of corrupt Dems.....including Bambi
Who allowed NINJA Mortgages- Clinton
NINJAs - for those who don't know: No Income, No Job, no Assets
A pox on both the Repubs who allowed this and the Dems that stopped any investigations into Fannie and Freddie.
Why aren't there any calls by this Dem Congress for investigations into Fannie and Freddie...... Cause Dodd, Bambi, Frank, Pelosi, Biden, Rangel are all implicated.

Who ran Fannie and Freddie into the ground?
Gorelick, Daschle, Johnson, Raines, Frank, Rangel the list goes on and on....
Who had a sweetheart deal for his home with a convicted felon?
Bambi
Why hasn't this Demn Congress called for investigations into Fannie and Freddie?
Because all the evidence will point back to them.
Who took $500 Thousand from Fannie and Freddie? Bambi
Name one Repub that had a sweetheart mortgage? Can't..they were all Dem elected officials.
Who tried to regulate and rein in Fannie and Freddie? McCain and Bush
Who stopped it? Dems and a few Repubs
Who allowed NINJA Mortgages? Clinton (NINJA - No Income, No Job, no Asset)

The issue isn't whether John McCain is a typical Washington pol, he is, everyone knows that.
The issue is that Obama and his frenzied followers say that he is NOT like a typical Washington pol, which is a lie.
He is a false god, and there is at least a 50/50 chance that he's a pure old style Chicago hustler, or the black JFK, or more likely the black Chairman Mao.

McCain's campaign is equally based on this false notion that he is some sort of maverick, that's he's anti-washington. Horse pucky.

Aw come on spartan, at least John McCain has a record to which we can refer.
We can look up the times he was a maverick. Look, if it takes walking across the aisle and a lot of negotiation to get something done in this country, well then, in my book, he's a maverick.

Larry King has a poll on his program website:
"Which candidate can get us out of our financial crisis?
Obama 81% 8542
McCain 19% 2012
Total Votes: 10554
This is not a scientific poll"
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/larry.king.live/
come on mccain supporters vote, it's not scientific so obama supporters can vote over and over again.

extra, extra, read all about it - Wikipedia on Raines has been changed
The cached version -
In June 2008 Wall Street Journal reported that Franklin Raines was one of several politicians who received below market rates loans at Countrywide Financial because the corporation considered the officeholders "FOA's"--"Friends of Angelo" (Countrywide Chief Executive Angelo Mozilo). He received loans for over $3 million while CEO of Fannie Mae. [5] Franklin Raines is currently one of Barack Obama's chief economic advisers.

the new version
The last paragraph of the current Wikepedia entry now reads:
On September 18, 2008 the McCain Campaign claimed in an ad critical of Obama that based upon reports from the Washington Post, Franklin Raines is currently one of Barack Obama's economic advisers. Both Raines and the Obama Campaign claim that Raines is not an Obama advisor and has never advised Senator Obama.

History of Wiki changes on Raines
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Franklin_Raines&action=history
also - another change
back to September 11, and the final paragraph read:
“When Franklin Raines took over Fannie Mae in 1999, he set an objective of doubling earnings per share. This is not quite what Franklin Roosevelt had in mind when he founded it in 1938.
The two GSEs became increasingly aggressive, took unnecessary risks and ran close to – and, on occasion, beyond – their loose regulatory requirements. It can therefore be stated that Raines is implicitly responsible for the downfall of Fannie Mae.”
It was changed on September 14, 2008 apparently.

Fanny, Freddie, and Obama

When President George W. Bush nominated Henry Paulson to serve as Treasury Secretary, Republicans raised a red flag that Paulson, who, along with his wife, has strong ties to the Democrat party, would not be an honest broker with Republicans.
That seems to have been borne out, with sources inside of Treasury reporting that Paulson briefed Sen. Barack Obama and his campaign advisers on the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bailout plan before offering such a briefing to the McCain campaign.

Well the wiki entry says he is a Republican.
"Paulson has personally built close relations with China during his career. In July 2008 it was reported by The Daily Telegraph that: "Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson has intimate relations with the Chinese elite, dating from his days at Goldman Sachs when he visited the country over 70 times."[11]"
"Paulson has quickly distinguished himself from his two predecessors in the Bush administration by formally identifying the wide gap between the richest and poorest Americans as an issue on his list of the country's four major long-term economic issues to be addressed, highlighting the issue in one of his first public appearances as Secretary of Treasury.[15]"
How reliable is wiki?

I see a lot of brainless ones on here.
In 2003 GWB went to congress and tried to get some controls placed on Freddie and Fannie. "Congressional democrats' blocked any action.
In 2005 McCain tried to get congress to put some controls on Freddie and Fannie. "Congressional democrats" blocked any action.
Now we know that the democrats were lining their pockets with Freddie and Fannie cash. The $126,000 that is on the books to Hussein O in three years is only a cover for the hundreds of thousands he took under the table. They most likely bought all of his books by the truck load as payoffs which made him a multi-millionaire. He sure didn't do anything to hinder their billion dollar ripoff and won't do anything today except lie about his part in the ripoff.
If they can get one of the weasels in court it will be like Worldcom and Enron (Slick Willie's sleepover pardner), they will roll on each other worse than kindergarden kids. I recommend waterboarding the weasel Hussein O. He'd break in less than the 30 seconds it took on a terrorists.
