Obama ssaid some very odd things again last night. He said this, right in front of two of his fans who didn't even notice:
(1) "Well, first of all, as commander-in-chief, my job is to keep America safe." He doesn't have the job yet. He's made this mistake too many times before.
(2) "And I would have asked very explicitly for young people to engage in community service and military service. I was listening earlier of the discussion about who serves in our military. I think that had the president very clearly said, this is not just going to be a war of a few of us, this is going to be an effort that mobilizes all of us, I think we would have had a different result."
A different result? What he is saying here shows how short-sighted, inexperienced, and accustomed to living in a dream world he is. He is saying he is in favor of universal MILITARY service so more people will become pacifists and the public mood will be more like it was in the Viet Nam era. That means the CIC (possibly Obama) will have a harder time gathering public support for a necessary war he may have to fight in the future. Folks, your children may need to serve in the military involuntarily, not to fight a war, but to give government an excuse not to fight one that may be necessary. This is a candidate for CIC? Have mercy!

From last night some of the promises for new government agencies and programs that give something to damn near everyone that Obama will not be able to fulfill:
(1)Mathematicians and scientists school service corps, "...if we have got retirees who are scientists and mathematicians, who are willing to come in the classrooms and provide additional help to young people and inspire them into different careers, I think that they’re going to welcome it."
(2)But this time it will be different: "See, I would distinguish between a government assist in providing people avenues for service and a government bureaucracy in which the notion is that the only way you can serve is through some defined government program." A "government assist" won't be a bureaucracy. I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
(3) "One way of making sure that we encourage this kind of citizenship is to start early, to make sure that our young people in high school have community service opportunities. Making sure that our university students, in exchange for making college affordable, are giving something back.
(APPLAUSE)
In underserved communities, that they are teaching, that they are working in hospitals that need help.
I’ve got all kinds of other stuff, Judy"
AND JUST THINK. THIS IS ALL FREE OF CHARGE AND IS NOT, NOT A BUREAUCRACY.

So the tax-payers are going to pay for college. In return we will have the college students involuntary service corps. But there won't be any bureaucracy, none. No paperwork. No printing pamphlets. No web sites. No training. It will all be word of mouth?

This Obama is just what one would expect for someone of his background. He served on committees and boards. He addressed problems. Not solved them, talked about them. There is zero practicality in his ambitions. None whatever.

Wow the Nazi youth core model now there's a new idea. Change you can sink your teeth into!

Okay I'm gonna kick your butt! This time I'm really gonna do it!! No, I'm REALLY gonna do it this time.

All t his talk of gloves just BEGS for an OJ punchline.
