A modern liberal will fight to the death for your right to agree with them.

She grew up in Texas, and she knows what this stuff looks like. What's she talking about, chili? Cause I grew up in Texas and I don't have a clue what she's talking about, unless it's that super-secret sign all us white folks from Texas have that allows us to talk about the black folk without them knowing it. Is that the stuff she's referring to? Must be, want to see the secret handshake as well? Well, I ain't gonna let ya'. I can't be giving out all our Texas secrets, now can I?

I lived with a family (as a foster, I was a resident alien) far older than myself. Because of that, I had a different perspective of expected behavior. One family member was a survivor of WWII - and I do mean survivor since he was the only one left alive after a battle in Germany. I remember the family telling me that when he came back, he went to his room and didn't speak for three years. My only remembrance of him was always kind, always telling jokes. I'm sure he "felt" an incredible amount, but he also “felt” a sense of obligation to get past his feelings and start living again, and not indulge them forever. That stoicism is missing today, but something I always look for.

It's getting curiouser and curiouser. I guess all those people who voted for Obama in the primaries and cuacauses weren't racists and the ones who voted for Hillary were?

I got curious: http://www.pbs.org/weta/washingtonweek/aroundthetable/tumulty.html

"Tumulty holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Texas-Austin and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School."

There is that Harvard connection again.

"--- We ALL know using the word "hysterical" is simply code for, she's just a gal. ---"

Interesting observation, considering that the root word of "hysterical" is *hyster*, which is a synomym of uterus.

That, and the state of being "hysterical" was a turn-of-the-19th Century understanding of PMS... or sexual frigidity.

yes, I know Seek. Trust me, I've been informed of that on more than one occasion by fem. liberal bloggers - kinda what I meant.

What is wrong with hysterical feminist bloggers is that they have become a cliche.

As we are now deep into the general election, it has become apparent that McCain is not going to let Obama or the media get away with baseless accusations of racism. Tumulty is just another example of this brainless attempt.
Congrats, Karen T. You have joined the swelling ranks of disgraceful journalists who can't hide their bias. What a hack.

"there are only two words officially approved for use in responding to liberals these days:"

The only two words I say anymore is "get lost".

And I cleaned up the language for this post.

"he's now obviously a sexist and a misogynist,"

No he isn't. Just ask his "c*nt" "trollop" wife.

Or ask him to tell you that funny joke about the woman who got raped by a gorilla and liked it.

Or watch him laugh as his supporters wonder, "how do we beat the bitch"

Or guffaw at him calling Janet Reno Chelsea Clinton's father.

Or console him as he makes the incredibly difficult decision to leave his cripple wife for a beautiful beer heiress.

No...there's absolutely positively 100% nothing sexist or misogynist about John McCain. Nope.

jaime, the democratic talking points lately are getting quite feeble. Hearsay is a very interesting animal, it can "morph" into whatever the spreader desires.

The issue of McCain's crippled wife rarely comes up. I think the reason for this is that they, meaning she and McCain, worked their situation out in a private adult way. I'm certain that Mrs McCain #1 had plenty of opportunity to come out in the media, (why, she could have made millions for her "story") and destroy John McCain. Ask yourself why she didn't do this? To me, the way they handled things and how their children have turned out, speaks volumes.

yes, I know Seek. Trust me, I've been informed of that on more than one occasion by fem. liberal bloggers - kinda what I meant.
