Obama still has plenty of time to respond to McCain / Palin, even if his early efforts aren't looking very good. But the best part is watching where the liberal punditocracy is today. They are shocked! shocked, I tell you ... and saddened, too.
From Joe Klein to Andy Sullivan they are cursing the world and most especially John McCain for his evil, Rovian deeds. Pardon me if I'm unmoved by their deep pain, given that if Obama were making the correct moves to win right now, they'd be suffering no real shame. They'd simply rationalize it as, well, you know, it's what he has to do to beat the Bush / Rove / now McCain machine.
Sorry, no tears for these folks who are always dealing the cards from the Left side of the deck ... and no charity, either. If anything, hey, it's football and election season. That makes it time to pile on ... or, you know, at least kick at 'em while they're down.
Trust me, they'd do the same for you if ever given the chance. That's just the way life is - something many liberals are either unable to grasp, or admit. Is the McCain camp playing too rough? Obama wants to be POTUS not captain of the cheer leading squad.
Suck it up, losers ... or whine away like the losers you will continue to be in Fall.
And don't think for a minute the Obamisogynist and crew haven't been busy crafting whatever dirty tricks of their own they will likely eventually employ.

I say these losers could use a LOT more cheese with their whine!!

Looks like Sambo's not going to beat the bitch this time out.

All Obama has left is to play the victim. And finally to play the race card. Maybe Oprah can help him with those two things. Oh no. That's right nothing can help him at this point. It is all over. But the shouting.

I'm glad chris finally made an appearance. I was beginning to believe that he had committed suicide along with his god king Xerxes(obama). I'd miss the laughs he conjures up with his moronic Democratic talking points and one line missives. I'll bet you were an English major, chris. And you hated those preppy people in high school, too. However, you did have Pokemon to help get you through all the crises.

Pokemon? Maybe your functionally 'special' offspring played with Pokemon during high school (which explains a lot) but I don't think many others did at that age.
Now shouldn't you be off to give them a bath before dinner?

Your god king is about as impressive as you when it comes to making friends and influencing people, chris. As for Pokemon, it was losers like you who played that game. I bet you still have those cards, don't you, chris? You can always put them on E-Bay. It might make you a little spare change, which would get you out of mommie's basement and into the real world, chris. Give it a try, won't you?

Did Obama give Hillary the finger?

Does Michelle Obama wear lipstick or is she an au nature?

Palin picked because she didn't have an abortion! Also hearing that PMS and the finger on the bomb is coming up.

This is the reason I never allowed comments on USS Clueless.

Chris certainly has the persecuted high school dork snark down to a T. Now that things ain't looking so good maybe Obama should change his campaign theme to "Mean people suck" to rally his base!

Chris:
Re. your pokemon cards on E-bay. Try it. Sarah put a plane on E-bay. Google it.

Stop making fun of me. You're hurting my feelings. Pokemon was more of a middle school thing for me. I don't like you guys making fun of me. Obama is the best thing that ever happened to me. I like everything he stands for.

Damn Sock Puppet you really are making friends today aren't you.
Not like your regular fudge packing buddies though.
Conratulations on that partner of the month award! Maybe your anal soul mate will let you get on top for a change!
I'll bet your mom lets you get those new window treatments you boys have been wanting for your basement.
Allah Akbar Bro!

I now have to keep repeating what my Mom told me, "Keep your words short and sweet, you never know which ones you'll eat.
AND... Surely we don't want to stoop as low as KOS, heck there's a lot of things they do that I never would. That's why we are going to vote for a good and respectable candidate. (2) :)
I'll chuckle gleefully and go back to researching border and amnesty NON-action, and who's promising what giveaways. Usually, some kind of back door thing is going on when they start trying to distract us.
Let's see if we can get the race back on the issues. ;) COUNTRY FIRST
Love you all!
(it's just that some are easier to love from a distance and muted)

"--- AND... Surely we don't want to stoop as low as KOS, heck there's a lot of things they do that I never would. That's why we are going to vote for a good and respectable candidate... ---"
I'm afraid, HD... that ship has already sailed. It's mid-September, and the political landscape is awash in the Category 5 torrential downpour of the "Bravo Sierra" from both campaigns.
Too bad that too few people truly desire a change back to the way we used to do things - for America first. And worse is that we are so trapped by the "there are only two parties, no less, no more" lie that we must forever "hold our nose" to vote for "the lesser of two evils".
Listen, Nation: The lesser of two evils... is still EVIL.
Americans need to wake up and vote their conscience if they are truly dissatisfied with Idiotarian Party A and Idiotarian Party B.
There's the Libertarians (Bob Barr), the paleo-conservative Constitutionalists (Chuck Baldwin), the Greens (Cynthia McKinney), and any of a number of independents (Ralph Nader comes to mind).
Personally, I'm pulling for the Constitutionalists and a few "Ron Paul Republicans"... if you want a change, Nation, back any of these non-majority party candidates.
Posted by: seekeornos | Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 12:52 AM
seek, the only thing you will do by voting for the Constitutionalists is put the Jacobin Obama in charge. After 4 years of terrorist control of the US, there will be no country left to change. If you haven't been listening to people like Spike Lee, then go listen to them. They know this, and that is why this campaign by these Jacobins is the way it is. You have to look no further than Venezuela to see what these people have in mind for us.

TK, I also want the lefties to vote for the Greens and for the Libertarians and anyone else but Obama.
There is coming a time where we must be willing to break from the two-party tyranny (very nearly one party, to be honest).
At this point, 'tis a pipe dream, I know, but in my eyes, there is only the most gossamer-thin veil of differences between the GOP and the Dems on a great many things.
What we are seeing going on now (the showers of Election-Year September Storms of "Bravo Sierra") is not much more than the Grand Distraction, where partisans and politicos puff themselves up and beat their chests in hopes of attracting the sheeple to the voting machines.
When all is said and done, the campaign signs taken down, the polls closed, and that big party is tossed on 20 Jan. 2009, there won't be much difference in the general direction this nation is headed in.
The GOP way is toward socialism is by a "death of ten thousand paper cuts" (compare the GOP's landmark principles and policies of today to those of 70-80 years ago, of Robert Taft's time: men like that, such as Dr. Ron Paul, are thought to be lunaticks and crazy uncles)
The Democratic way is rushing headlong with open arms to embrace the Jacobin grip of socialism.
About 65% of this nation, likely more, is so disgusted with this election, that I reckon many will stay home and watch NetFlix movies - since their voice won't count for much anyway. If they were motivated to vote for a strong 3rd party candidate like Barr, Baldwin, or someone else... wow!
I might be wrong, but I sincerely believe that our next president will be decided AT BEST, by a mere 15%-18% of the voting-able population.
