By Joe Biden's own definition, he may not consider himself qualified to own a gun and it appears he may have basically ripped-off the theme of his recent gun comments from a question to him in a previous Presidential debate.
Here is Biden today: One of rural Democrats’ biggest fears about Obama? That he’ll come after the Second Amendment. Not so, said Biden — and he’d better not try.
“I guarantee you, Barack Obama ain’t taking my shotguns, so don’t buy that malarkey,” Biden said angrily. “They’re going to start peddling that to you.”
“I got two, if he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem.”
What's more unhinged, threatening a would be President over possibly taking your Baretta, or a casual remark by a gun owner which caused Biden to mock the gun owner and suggest he might not be qualified to own a gun at all?
Townsend, a 30-year-old from Clio, Mich., came next to last among the amateur inquisitors in the CNN/YouTube debate. But he made an indelible impression by asking the candidates if they would protect his “baby” – the Bushmaster AR-15 semiautomatic rifle he cradled in his arms.
New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson gave a standard answer about the need to improve screening of gun applicants. But Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware, who said that he sponsored an assault weapons ban, was not so sanguine.
“I’ll tell you what, if that’s his baby, he needs help,” Biden said of Townsend. “I don’t know that he is mentally qualified to own that gun. I’m being serious.”
Many in the audience at The Citadel military college in Charleston, S.C., laughed and applauded. But the response in Townsend’s home and among gun enthusiasts was considerably more chilly.
Townsend called the Biden response “kind of off-kilter,” adding: “I think he hurt himself. A lot of people who are out there said, ‘We are all gun owners. He lost my vote.’ ”
After taking his dig at Townsend, Biden added: “I hope he doesn’t come looking for me.”
Based on Biden's new comments, maybe Obama better watch his back, too?

Yesterday (Sat) Slow Joe visited the coal fields and told the coal miners he was once a coal miner in Pa. Talk about people that are fighting mad, they now know he is a bold face liar and I'd highly recommend he stay out of coal mining country, they really do own guns, and hate liars. He was only about 20 miles from where Hussien called Sarah Palin a pig. I guess the elitest city slickers really do consider 'average' hard working Americans stupid. They need to go back to the big city and create some more racicsm.

Joey "Winner of the Original Verbal Content of the Year Award" Biden will naturally get a pass on account of the fact he's in the elitist club, and besides, fellers, he was jus' kiddin', right...?
If any other normal Joe had mouthed those words, to wit: “I got two, if he tries to fool with my Beretta, he’s got a problem.”, the Secret Service would have likely disappeared his sorry butt into a C-130 and off to Gitmo so fast his head would have spun.

Would he be required to register those Berettas? Is there any way of finding out if he is, in fact, a registered gun owner?

After watching the candidate's debate last night, it became apparent that Obama would be better to play the President in a movie, but McCain is the man who can actually do the job. Obama is like a movie set. He looks good, but behind the facade, there's nothing there. When you have no track record, like Obama, all you can do is criticize and attack America ... whereas McCain, who has actually contributed to this country for decades, obviously loves America. I never felt like Obama has sincere pride and love for this country, he just seems to be in this for personal ambition.
